760 GB/s of memory bandwidth. This is not bad for an XX80 card. So we have got 2GB increase of vram since last generation, haven't we? It would be good to hear something about the Ampere Ti. If I'm correct we have only heard from the xx80 and Titan/xx90 so far.

Its extremely unlikely that Navi 2 will be an MCM design.

That would be the RDNA 3 If that leaks was correct back in the days. As you have said it highly unlikely for RDNA 2.

Does not look right though

The 3090 is likely the equivalent of the Ti, maybe they are leaving some room on top to launch a faster refresh later and introduce a Ti then. On the OP: Memory amounts are still very unclear. The analysts with industry contacts say as much. NVIDIA has been keeping a tight lid on this and might increase the memory amount still. For the 3090 both 12GB or 24GB are very much possible, and similar for the 3080 10 or 20GB. Maybe we'll actually have an option to pick between those. Luckily the announcement is only two weeks out now, so speculation can only go so far.

455.90 driver's are not ready for 3080 if that's real 😛 the only thing i can say for certain 😛

By now I'm 100% certain somewhere in the bowels of the Internet there's a forum where the members keep a tally on who managed to fabricate the most widely spread rumour about an upcoming hardware release. The biggest championship among them, no doubt, is a new Nvidia GPU generation. Maybe they also give extra points for stretching the credibility to the maximum limit and beyond, yet still managing to get the rumour spread by the usual sites.

I'd assume that will be "Super" as well so they can call their whole refresh lineup next year "Super". Whatever it'll be called, I'm likely going to wait for the refresh anyway. Maybe they will throw in larger RAM sizes at that time as well.

big navi needs to give Nvidia a whooping Or at least offer more features/ram for the same price if the can't beat it in straight horsepower

Realistically I'm looking at a 3080, then, either at (hopefully) £650 for the 10GB and no more than £800 for a potential 20GB model. I won't ever pay more than a grand for a GPU and was hoping Nvidia would learn from the lukewarm Turing reception that apparently cut their bottom line in half and offer these cards at a saner price. AMD being slow out of the gate certainly hasn't helped at all.

The only issue i see is whether a 20gb 3080 is even worth it. I highly doubt it would use more than 12gig of it. 20gb seems stupid on a gaming card if you ask me.

20GB is overkill, something like 16 would be comfy, comfier than 10 anyway.

Am I missing something here? Why is the graphics score 31.2% if this is the RTX 3080 (it states that a RTX 2060 Super would score 100%)? It's running an unreleased driver that is obviously newer then anything available now so I would guess that you can't chalk that up to the driver... Is it only assumed to be the 3080 because of the amount of vRAM? What am I missing?

I honestly think nVidia is gonna struggle to sell 10GB 3080s specially if we already know other versions of said card will come later. I really wanted a 3080 too but i'm not gonna be an early adopter this time either. I thought Gen2 RTX cards would have plently of Vram to be future proof but sorry 10GB is hardly future proof at all and having 20 is overkill also. 3080 with 12gb would have been ideal but maybe that what 3080Ti will have? Plus if the 3080 does have 10GB then i wonder what the 3070 and 3060 will get.

Dont go by that clock speed of 2100mhz.M y RTX 2060 KO reads that too in userbench and I dont even have mine overclocked.I think its a userbench bug..
