PCIe 5.0 get hot and everyone think "Yeah something new to cool"... Not too long time to see biggest things with 12 or 14cm fan and maybe RGB led included, like the horrible chipset cooler of the 90" 00" era lol

We don't need these speeds, just a smaller fabrication process for better temps.

Crazyness with these cooling 'solutions'. I'm not gonna buy a 5.0 ssd but how does this ever fit beneath a graphics card? Is it low enough?

First slot abobe the gpu is the Gen5 on my motherboard and even though it can fit it will look ugly blocking some parts of the gpu backplate.

Undying:

I'm sorry, my mistake. I've put all slots full so I did forget which one was the 5.0 hehe. But it's also above my graphics card. I guess my cpu block would be a thing there cause it's little lowered cause of the x3d bracket that Noctua provided. https://i.ibb.co/YTZdJyh/download.png

Soon they are going to strap a refrigerator system on the back of M.2 SSD's...

The worst cooler design I have seen in a long time. Fans on top of 1mm high metal fins. Almost no fan air to the higher part of the fins and a shroud is mounted on top of the fins to shield off air from other fans in the case hitting the fins. One picture has twice as high cooling fins then the other picture, what version is the customer getting? This cooler is a big no for me, it looks worse then a 20 year old GF3 TI200 GPU heatsink, my passive Asrock motherboard cooler is probably better then this.

Using an AiO there is a clearance to fit gen5 nvme with an active cooling but i kinda choose not to atleast for now.

One small, annoyingly loud high-pitched fan was bad enough. Having 2 of them screams brute force engineering gone wrong.

Still not ready for the consumer market.

This why I didnt care about getting a gen 5 board. Gen 4 nvme's are fine with me and I wont notice an iota of difference in actual usage outside of benchmarking. And not being bothered by gen 5 cooling requirements.

How about... no.

Wait 2 fans on an SSD is a selling point now ??? Lol!
