Damn, and I thought my 297mm GPU was big!
I hear ya on that one. I'm not liking how so many GPUs these days have soldered double-stacked display connectors. I like it when the 2nd layer connectors are attached via ribbon cables, since I can remove them if I need to.
I also don't understand why single-slot GPUs are so rare in general. Just about any GPU that uses a single 6-pin PCIe connector (or none at all) should be able to adequately cool itself in a single slot. For many micro ATX builds, losing an expansion slot can be a big deal.

They should call it 1080 Ti Magnum edition.

If they're smart, they will bundle one! :giggle2:

Damn that is one heavy card.

A good videocard to test those reinforced 16x PCI-E slots.

That is bigger then my Fury. o.0

The Fury PCB isn't that big though yeah the Tri-X and it's updated Nitro variant has a bit of the heat sink sticking out over the PCB for some reason so those models are a bit longer. 😀
This looks bigger still, guessing it's the same here then even if the Pascal 1080Ti PCB (And variants of it.) are probably a bit longer by default.
(Not really sure how effective it is, seems to me it wouldn't do much but perhaps it helps dissipate heat faster?)
EDIT: Still the Voodoo5 design back then had four fans. :P
(Granted they were far smaller, ha ha.)

Its big but not unusual. Zotac 1070 amp extreme ed is bigger (12.80" x 5.83").

And there I thought the days of buying a new case for a huge graphics card would be over after my clash with the MSI 580GTX Lightning (305mm length) 😀
