WANTED: Somebody to go back to the future with me. This is not a joke. P.O.Box 322 Oakview CA, 93022. You’ll get paid after we get back. Must bring your own NVME drive. Safety not guaranteed. I have only done this once before.

What?! I only just upgraded from v2 to v3 about 6 months ago, and even then my graphic card has no benefit from the extra bandwidth.

So we just got 4.0, a news article earlier today talks about 5.0 and now it's 6.0? I hope tomorrow we'll go for at least 8.0. 😛

Users who just finished punching their perforated cards with more PCIe 7.0 jokes, please teletype them to the Intel PCIe 5.0 roadmap thread.
Everyone else shall look forward to seeing PCIe 6.0 NVMe SDs in the year 2024.

Meanwhile, Phison is readying the E18 NVMe SSD controller that reaches 7 GByte/s read/write usig 8-channel flash memory, about the maximum allowed by PCIe 4.0 x4. Compliant SSDs should reach market by Q3 2020.

Nope, no RGB so I'm not impressed! We got RGB PCI-E M2 SSD's and we got RGB HDMI cables. Improve your product!
