Ah yes, nothing like blind fanboyism.
Blind? lololololol....Just my preferred hardware of choice. What's wrong with that? :wanker:

There's a difference between hardware preference and passing up an obviously superior deal.

Still wouldn't buy one @ $100 USD. NVIDIA ALL THE WAY. Period.
Yet its twice as fast as your 770. Fail.

Depends on the game..:infinity:

AMD cannot manipulate me, some people are dumb but not me. If i want play games im better use a Nvidia card, better and faster support for games and more stable framerate, i dont want wait 8 weeks for a good working game. I pay 100 euro more but gaming is much beter on Nvidia.

I hope AMD greatly benefit from all this. To at least keep them in business longer. Although good competitors to Nvidia, I think they would have been even better (as ATI) had they not been swallowed by a financially strapped company like AMD.

You not smart to see not the big performance problems with AMD cards vs Nvidia cards. Yes its maybe Nvidia marekting but gamplay is for me more important than AMD ore Nvidia. I buy wat i want cause monny is not the problem.

What big performance problems? I've been swapping back and forth between ATI/AMD and NVidia for the last 15 years and I have yet to experience 99% of the issues NVidia users claim exist with ATI/AMD hardware or drivers. From my experience, it seems all these issues are fabricated by NVidia fanboys, shills and users that have no idea wtf they're doing in the first place.

You miss the big problems with new next gen games. Its works good on the consoles but not with amd pc's, after weeks it get fixed and i dont accept that. Its Nvidia's marketing with gameworks i think you miss much vga game reviews?
data/avatar/default/avatar04.webp
lol those games like ac unity don't work good on consoles or amd and nvidia powered pc... so your argument is invalid.. check some forums and see how nvidia users have major issues with dying light for example.. then u have dragon age shadow of mordor and alien isolation that work better on old amd cards then on the 900 nivida series
The games works much better on a nvidia intel pc. Dying Light also runs great

Nothing is any different between AMD and NVidia. They both have "issues" with various games due to programmers writing sloppy, buggy code. This has always been the case.

The latest patch for Dying Light gimped the game, it brought VRAM usage down from the full 3.5G usable on the 970 to somewhere around 2.8G. You should check if is this a TWIMTPB game and wonder why?

Patch Its set view distance to 50 but the game looks great with view distance at 50 + it add higher shadow resolution to and you get the same performance. And yes like i set before its nvidia marketing, i think with gamworks but i need first to see the facts about TMWIMTPB/Gameworks

But you see on your 980 the draw distance did not have to be lowered, the performance difference was negligible. It is almost like this patch was to keep the 970 from seeing its 3.5G boundary and stepping over it, which would have brought frame times up and people complaining of stutter with it.

conspiracy theory? Its runs great now on gtx980 and gtx970. Before with view distence at 100% my gtx980 gpu usage drop to 50 and the framerate drops from avg 70 fps to avg 40 fps and vram use was 3,6gb
data/avatar/default/avatar14.webp
not even remotely true.. ac unity is still crap on some nvidia configurations, and some nvidia users are reporting drops as low as 25 fps on their 980
Cpu 100% problem and view distance problem. If you want i make a movie with performance ask me 😉

And that 3.6G VRAM usage doesn't ring alarm bells for you, its the 970s VRAM limit. As a 980 owner I want to see where all these Nvidia 'optimizations' are headed because I hope it doesn't mean that me and you as 980 owners are getting shafted to appease the greater 970 user base.

I have much beter performance with the same settings on, like tesselantion with 1 gpu https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TA-mJ3SZ6yQ I make a movie today to let see that 1 gtx980 mutch more performance in Dying light vs 295x
