Nice to see all possible cable issues disappear, since every single 4000 card is gonna have that adapter.

Does it have better durability so it will work even if used more than 30 times? Not many knows that original PCIE 5 connector/adapter life cycle ends after using it for more than 30 times.. Normally it won't be a problem unless you're switching GPU's a lot for testing etc. Edit: After looking closer this new connector should fix all those problems.

How long before these cards come with their own pc psu cable that you plug right into the wall socket. Lol

apparently you don't know that the 8 pin cable has the same 30 time limit.

But I never heard it before all that fuss with PCIE 5 Gen connectors and adapters. I think even ZOTAC mentions it on their site and in their manual only for RTX 3090Ti/4090.

yeah, the youtubers made a big issue over nothing, some anti-nvidia crusader posted up an image of a cable that had a design issue (fixed since) and made it out to be a wide spread issue.

Will this cable work with the MSI Suprims? Looking at the photos, their plugs are somewhat indented.

Couple of months from now everyone has forgotten, it's because this connector is new and it's a hot item at the moment. Or perhaps it will stay in the news due to cheap cable extensions melting. I'd only trust CableMod in this case... for now.

They're looking into it they said on Reddit.
