Cloud gaming is never going to replace a game already on a hard disk.

Hey boss, the headline says 2021. I know you are good, but ....

I rather games on a hd/sd drive as well, but the cloud allows more storage and freedom to play a game elsewhere.

Yes it does. The problem is that it's entirely reliant on an a very fast internet connection. Even then you can feel the input lag delay, if ever so minor.

It can in a horrifying dystopian future where consoles are just connection boxes with very little as far as hardware goes. It'll happen the day consoles make it happen. Hopefully never. Luckily, ironically, the internet in 'Murica and Canada, on average, is absolute dogshit due to corruption and greed, so that'll delay that possible dystopian future a little. Can't stream games if your internet is 10+ years behind the rest of the world. https://i.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/022/138/highresrollsafe.jpg

For the giggles I streamed games from my home server with a 1GB connection. Was on verizion 5GUWB with a 1GB+ speeds. Felt like I was playing on about 45+hz/fps with the input lag, but it was very minor. Surprisingly it was not that bad but still was worse then streaming games in home even on 433mb wireless a/c

Nvidia reports their results in a different time table than other companies so i think this is correct.

Nvidia does not need China regulators to approve purchase for it to continue. It would be better to have it.

Companies want you using cloud as it is the ultimate DRM. Gamers don't want cloud as it's poop. Fight!

So, is this the reason for low stock and high demand of the 3000 series? So they can have a chart to look at, with an upward red arrow? I mean, you cant flood the market and no one buy up the stock to break even. So 3000 series stock was kept low for this purpose alone.
....? But Nvidia have already sunk most of the cost of designing and building those GPUs. They can only get their money back by selling those GPUs. More GPUs sold means the red arrow points even higher. Don't drink the conspiracy theory cool aid.

Theyve probably unloaded a lot of backstock, especially the higher end 2000 series cards. Whether intentional or not, the shortage of the 3000 series created a lot of desire for Nvidia GPUs. I cant count how many people gave up trying to get one and bought a 2080 super or a Ti or something along those lines. And most of the time at a very small mark down if any.
my 2080ti markdown was %50 OEM box straight from factory (via ebay). Week before 3080 launch when everyone thought brighter times were just round corner lol.
