Why is the DP so terrible on a professional card, isn't that one of the main points aside from the prof. drivers?

Generally Tesla cards are the DP monsters.

Pro or not, GPU and its drivers can not rediscover DP if it's not existent in hw. So 1/32 it is. Come to think of it, GM200 makes more sense than I thought previously. Geforce + Quadro = SP Tesla = SP+DP Only Tesla's performance suffers due to GM200 low DP, and Tesla is still the smallest part of Nvidia's graphics portfolio, by far.

Red Rocket X $6,750.00 USD ...i can hire 5 engineer from nvidia with that money -.- wtf is this price for 1 piece of hardware, nvidia really s the most greedy company in the world isnt it?
Wtf are you talking about. Nvidia doesn't make the Red Rocket X. Further you aren't only paying for the card with that money to Red. You are paying for support as well. And yes, when you sell a card that's for an extremely niche market the R&D funding isn't spread out among millions of chips, its over thousands. So of course it's going to cost a lot of money. That's like basic economics.

I told you all it won't have DP, after they announced that @ Japan Conference in end 2014 and yet you all keep questioning it to very end... No DP with Maxwell, its Kepler exclusive and then later Pascal.
