I´m sorry but there most be some mistake because the 2080Ti is priced at 1200$!!! That price can´t be real right???
I make that arouind £940, minus the 25% tariff the US has to pay means we in the UK should end up at just over £700. What ? I can dream can't I ?

I'll wait for consoles to get better than my 1070, then switch. 😀

These prices are appalling, but no surprise at all. In Canada, the GTX 2080 Ti will end up costing us 1700 Canadian with taxes, and the GTX 2080 will cost almost 1200. They have increased the prices in the product stack up one full tier. The 2070 costs what the 2080 should. The 2080 costs what the 2080 Ti should, and the 2080 Ti costs what the Titan should. So disappointing, and just a complete slap in the face to gamers. Good luck with selling those, Nvidia.
I feel you bro. Canadian here too. I'm planning to build a new PC within the next year or two and these cards. I had the 2070 in mind; never the big guns. But, looking at these prices, like you said, I'd be looking for 800$ 2070. Uuuugh. The current 1070 range from 550 to 700$CAD right now on Newegg. So, yeah... like everybody else, I'm not happy with those prices. However, since I always bought nVidia and tend to gravitate toward brands I had experience with, nVidia will unfortunately have my money. Hopefully there will be cheaper stuff from 3rd-parties.

Seriously ... that was my first thought too. I spent more time on my PS4 this year than pc as it is.

Stick with your Ti, you'll be surprised how well it would stand against these 2080 ti.
I will , no problems playing at 4K on my 1080Ti on H2O , good advice Paulo my 1080Ti is a keeper. I wonder if later on they will offer a RTX Titan for $3,000US Dollars 😱

just meeh. 2080 should have gotten 11/12gb and the ti 16gb vram. i wont spend almost twice to go from 1080 to 2080ti, nor will i waste money on swapping the 80 for a ti (as mine is pretty fast, and only reason for switch is vram amount) @Paulo Narciso so what your saying is they shouldnt make one, because you wont buy it? maybe we should stop making 100K watches and +500K cars, because its not for the masses..

Paulo Narciso:

Here in Portugal I suspect the price would be about 1400 - 1450 Euros.
Good thing we portuguese are filthy rich!!! If all the other Gurus imagined how rich we are they would all move to Portugal immediately...

At these prices, the performance jump must be near to 100% to be justified. If around earlier speculations (ie, 40%), then they better have a huge PR office to control the damage.

For what? The 2060?

2070. Expect slightly above 1080ti performance. They did say it's faster than Titan XP. Going by the last few generations, the 2070 will be slightly faster. Not bad for 499 USD.

Looks like BFV will be one of the first AAA titles to use this raytracing thingy.

I think they changed the prices in the very last minute before he talked. They already saw reaction on the net about the website prices and so many people saying HELL NO, and they adjusted last minute by 100-200$ less. All of have screenshots of the website now. If it changes... than that's what happened.
