Quite a fail I wonder why that is since previous versions did support it

Basically "We've lost a load of money already on this game and have given-up trying to fix it."

As a SLi user, I find the latest trend set by Nvidia to be pathetic, they release game ready drivers for another game full of their tech, Fallout 4, no sli, they then release a new driver yesterday and remove Sli from Total War Attila, which has not had any issues I am aware of before with Sli, and now this. it seems Sli is no longer a big thing for Nvidia, and the consumer has been screwed over. So far any game release with Nvidia Gameworks, is a game to stay far away from, no matter what hardware you have.

Indeed. I suppose nvidia got tired of SLI users waiting around to upgrade their hardware and this is the end result. I expect nothing less from a company that nerfed one chip to boost the sales of another. Oh how I wish AMD got some of their clout back, I so want to take a break from nvidia when I finally do put this old rig to bed.

It's a heavily modified UE3. Dev said that SLI gains weren't significant and caused more issues. PS, that's why i don't do SLI/CF
TBH sounds more like SLI/CFX was more like a afterthought for them and they messed up the code so bad they couldnt reverse it unless they rewritten the entire game which costs a lot of money. Remember Arkham city and arkham asylum does support SLI

Pathetic really. I got a steam code with my GPU for this game. Is it even worth me downloading?
Yes, the game is amazing. The performance issues are blown out of proportion, it stutters a bit while driving around in the Batmobil, but nowhere near unplayable like some say. It's more of an annoyance. The only think you have to do is disable Interactive Smoke. That setting just murders performance unfortunately. Disable that, crank everything else on max, and you get 60 fps all the time with some stutter while driving around. Because of the crap launch and performance issues, people actually miss the fact that it's an amazing game, definitely the best Batman since Arkham Asylum.

Worst PC port ever?
data/avatar/default/avatar09.webp
The biggest disappointment of the still young millennium (when it comes to games). From what's supposed to be an AAA publisher you get a piece of **** that takes over half a year to fix.. I played all of the previous Arkham titles on 4k, now I have to downgrade to 1080p to play it with at least a bit acceptable performance, but ****ty graphics compared to its predecessors.

Worst PC port ever?
I think so. This is a holy grail of broken games.

Seriously, you can pull it of with ease with a single one of those Titans....

With a single 980 Ti this should run well mate. It's SLI and Crossfire that's the problem. The game was awesome fun, in my opinion, especially with the Batmobile, but yeah it would have been even better if my hardware could have been fully utilised. Definitely would have done another playthrough if the CF support was fixed. A damn shame.
It s fine with a single 980Ti @ 1440p, even my 970 was able to handle it.

I didn't experience any stutter while driving with smoke and everything maxed out, not on my previous 970 neither my current card, but then again, neither did have stuttering on other games that some 970 users had stuttering with. I did use quite some time with frame-time monitoring to see if it was my eyes that where wrong too, plus used hours trying to figure out why some got stuttering where they really shouldn't have any. Mainly choice of hardware combination, BIOS settings and minor tweaks seems to be the lead, but it differed from system to system, some probably never got their 970 running at full potential, probably mainly because of the way the 500MB partition swaps data. NVidia should have done better homework, cause they just can't expect that people have optimal conditions for a below top end card.

it plays perfect on 980ti, idk how it plays on lower end cards, but that is a bad point. you don't need to have overpowered hardware for a game like that, 960 can easily max it out, or close to max out, 970 should at least run it around 70fps on maxed out. Shame, behind the curtain of the tech issues, there is an awesome game that it's sad cause many player won't see it shine.

That's not the point, all previous games support Sli, this should also.

Someone dropped the ball on this. In this case, the ball is a second Nvidia GPU.

I dont know what all the fuss is about, im running the game silky smooth with 40fps+ which is fine for a. single player game with all settings on max at 4k with a single 980ti.

That's not the point, point is the title was suppose to be an Nvidia Gameworks title. Meaning full Nvidia support. It was marketed for SLI support. Now granted for anyone that has a multi gpu setup should expect issues like this every now and then, but this is still a kick in the junk.

The games developers are refusing to work on SLI or CrossFire support, and you are blaming NVIDIA? What do you think, that they develop every single game on this planet?

Turn off Interactive Smoke and you can run it at 60 fps. Why would you sacrifice 20 fps for the occasional fancy smoke effect? P.S: 40 fps is not silky smooth. 60 fps is silky smooth. 40 fps is playable. You kinda need to look up the definition of silky smooth, just saying.
data/avatar/default/avatar21.webp
60 fps is not silky smooth, 120 fps is silky smooth, 60 fps is smooth.
120 is only silky smooth if you have a 120 Hz monitor, most people dont, so 60 fps is the accepted standard. But we are getting off topic. We are talking about Batman not discussing the subtleties of fps. Point is, Batman had a really bad launch and it was one of the worst PC ports ever, but it was mostly fixed, so now it's far from the worst PC port ever, it's an OK port considering the rocky start, anybody still saying is crap proly has not played it in it's current state, the fact that SLI is abandoned is unfortunate, but the game works fine with one card, so why all the hassle?
