So forget the fact that anything from the 750 and up is more than capable of running HDR content, and Nvidia still fully supports these cards, that's some very limited support...
Also, AMD no HDR love? The damn Xbox One S and One X are both AMD based!

probably just DRM stuff as usual, AMD with its software openness cant guarantee the same "security"

I switched to Hulu last month, but I still don't see why they can't just be universal and support both.

Netflix must really love movie piracy. They seem hellbent on doing everything they can to make people get the movies through p2p.
Congratulations. You're giving a huge, HUGE boost to the very thing you're trying to combat.

Total nonsense it needs a 10xx series card.
A 9xx can totally do it, just some DRM nonsense.
So they see the lacking DRM stuff in pre 10xx cards, and assume someone with the 9xx prior cards want to pirate and share the content? As if there's not a whole bunch of other ways to pirate it, 4k and hdr10 included.
Never mind that for a lot of pirate consumers, it's not even 4k hdr, never mind 1080p or 720p. Steam websites are base level quality at best. So who does it protect then?
Just use me tv to watch it then.

I actually have the correct requirements (Coffee Lake + GTX1080) but I can't get the Netflix app to play anything via the Win10 app as of 2-3 days ago. Probably whenever they rolled out the HDR update. No matter what I choose it says "Oops, this content isn't available, please try again later" or something to that effect. Tried uninstalling the app, signing out, etc.
The same account works fine on other devices like the Xbox and PS4.
