Why can they not offer a true 'full cover' water block that extends to the end of the PCB? They can do it for the high end models so why not other cards? Exposed PCB is ugly as hell...

Full cover means fully covering what needs to be cooled. Not like you can see the face of it installed. Also rather have it compact this way to allow air to circulate around other components of the card.

Agreed no way I would buy one unless it's full cover. By the way what's the actual point of a waterblock when the msi gaming fan performs so well? I mean are you really going to gain much going to water when you are limited by the cards overclockability etc. Ofc I realise the point of watercooling (been there on a 580) but when the air cooler is so good it more or less defeats the object..

@JJayzX: Yes, I know. I am not ignorant of the meaning. I think it is misused and misleading and yes I have had conversations about this with EK. As for not being able to see it, now you are ignorant. I do not mean that in an offensive manner but you are not considering many Mini-ITX cases such as BitFenix's Prodigy or Corsair's 250D which are laid out and designed so you can indeed see the cooler from the side. @mitzi76: You are forgetting to fact that many water cool just as much for it's looks as for any cooling potential.
