Is it possible to run this using and AMD GPU? Or is it Nvidia exclusive? EDIT: Just ran it, worked fine on my setup - Got 7590 score on the " Hunting Mode " benchmark...

It works on amd. I even ran it with crossfire working forcing Crysis 3 profile. But sadly one of my 7950 died yesterday. Dont know why, It just made a pop sound and wasnt overclocked much. Was only at 950 core while running a water cooler. On topic though, it looks pretty damn good, its demanding, the cut fur is nice. Its a Cryengine benchmark/game.

Well on top that it looks like its aimed for nVidia, its CryEngine using a ton of nVidia's gameworks stuff.. so similar to Far Cry 4 with the Dunia engine using nVidia's gameworks stuff in which nVidia cards (especially newer 970/980s) yielded almost ~10fps difference while when settings were lowered/turned off we see the numbers close to 290X/290 counterpart ~1-2fps. General overall benchmark for single 970 i see with settings: 1080p 4x MSAA: ~60FPS AVG 1080p SMAA: ~90FPS AVG 1080p OFF: ~100FPS AVG 720 Ranked: ~110FPS AVG ^guesstimation range numbers, not actual.

Got an 13262 benchmark on my GTX 660 Ti card.

Well it run on AMD gpu's, but the result are damn bad.. dont know if this is the driver who are not optimzed yet, but a 7970GHZ score lower than a GTX660. ( when the card is on average equal or even faster of a GTX 680 ). A single 670 beat a 7970Ghz by a good 145% ( 1.45x ) ( 44fps at 1280x720 vs 64fps for the 670 )
I barely pulled 40fps with 7950 crossfire at 4420x1024 res using SMAA. Using 168x1050 I got 85fps though lol. Both cards were clocked at 950/1500 as well

Mmm... ranked mode results in ~21k points, good enough.

Hey Hey Hilbert, just to let you know, while downloading on either EU or USA server, within like 10 seconds or so, Avast is picking up this: Win32:Evo-gen [Susp] Then after it picks up the threat, the download gets canceled. Anyone else have this problem? Gonna try this benchmark out at 4k+ resolution with nvidia inspecta's High dosage of AA injection, Yummy.

Got another Win32:Evo-gen [Susp] on another site. This one: http://mho.qq.com/cp/a20141201benchmark/en/index.htm

I see a moderate Oc'ed 780GTX is still going strong 🙂

Take it this only works on nVidia cards...?

Nope, AMDs as well.

It works on both nVidia and AMD cards but the benchmark is incredibly bias towards nVidia cards. Fur kills performance on AMD cards cause it is being calculated by the CPU rather then the GPU since it it done using Cuda, if it was done using OpenCL then it would work equally well on either manufactures cards. Yep my minimum frame rate is the same no matter the resolution or if a have FSAA on or off, it always slows down when rendering fur or water refractions. As such this benchmark holds no water and reflects no equal ground, nVidia paid product.

HairWorks uses DirectCompute, it runs on the GPU for both AMD/NVidia.

It runs yes but uses PhysX which is another layer ontop which is CUDA, accelerated on nVidia GPU's only, none nVidia GPU's fallsback to CPU accelerated which is 20x slower. Even if you have a nVidia GPU, e.g i have a GTX470 but can't use it unless i hack the drivers and modify the game system file checks it may work i have seen some things on it but it's a lot of hassle to try to get it to run.
