I've yet to see a reason to get it over Win 7.
Seen a few reasons not to tho.

Going to get it at some point, not sure if it's at this year or at the next one. Planning to buy some 120gb SSD and put OS to it, when that happens I dont know, perhaps at xmas.
Reasons why to get it ? Well, why not ? I do like the new My computer, desktop seems nice, those tiles at that Metro UI surely will get some use at point and it's actually good to see new UI which according to those who have bothered to try it for few days is good and works.
Picture of that my computer because I think we all have seen what the MEtro UI looks like (or what the hell it's called? I think they changed the name to something else?)

Mine should arrive today. Already ran the Upgrade Assistant and there appear to be no issues.

So Win 8 is out today, didn't know that, really I care so little I couldn't even be bothered finding out when it's released, big change from when I built a new rig all ready for the day Win 7 came out!

im too lazy for installing it now...

Had my copy for a while. Finally got a chance to install it today. Really good so far. Things have moved and there is a lot of new interface, but it is clean and tidy. Really fast OS.

I'm getting a copy from Microcenter later today since they have it for a mere $38.88 ($30+ cheaper than most places). The only reason I'm getting it is to have a cheap upgrade for an old XP license. Also, for anyone that works on computers all the time, it's pretty important to know the OS inside out, whether you like it yourself or not. 😛

OEM is the full version. It behaves as the retail one did on previous versions.

It is impossible to believe that some of you guys consider your self's computer "experts". Dual booting must be something you all have not heard of but hey, your loss. Me, I have it now installed on my tablet and dual booting it on my laptop at work.
I will eventually put in on my desktop but, Dataplex does not yet support it and I would need to purchase new bluray playback software.

I'm kinda lost here.
If i'm building a new PC by myself and want to buy a full copy of Windows 8 pro (not upgrade) what am i supposed to do ? Buy an OEM license ???
