The big issue I see is that MS will push their gamepass and will eventually opt out of selling games directly. On the other hand they at least cater to the PC audience and not just consoles. By that I mean that they release titles on both PC and consoles and at the same time at that, because their UWP platform is pretty terrible otherwise.

Grow in what???
Let's hope that not in a big headache for everybody...
In a way it makes sense...a game producer famous for buggy games bought by a company famous for buggy software.

There isn't very many AAA studios left to buy. EA would cost too much even for Microsoft.

If Microsoft bought Bethesda, now Doom will use DX12 instead of vulkan and they will ditch id software?

Sega is even worth buying, as all they make are mobile games nowadays.

Not surprising. They need exclusives to compete against Sony and that´s the only way to have them...

Sega next up, and i won't say no to Sega's back cat appearing again, i will take a return of Outrun and Sega Rally in a hearbeat.

Business-wise, if I was MS, I actually would make a bid at least for EA. This would drive the western audience with FIFA/Madden/MMA/Boxing, followed by 2K for NBA and Wrestling games (and ofcourse GTA6). Next, buy up Codemasters for rally and F1 racing games and finally a generous bid for Capcom for fighting and horror games.
The Xbox then ends-up being the best sports games machine with some big AAA franchises on top.

I have said it again and again: we have pirated far too little! They (the big brother companies, that destroy your freedom and eat your kids) had money to bribe the press, so they always had more than enough of it.
