It looks pretty for sure. The question is how good it'll be compared to G700(s).

It looks like a raptor head.

How can the battery be 500mAh and last 40 days without charging? My G700S came with a 1900mAh battery and I'm lucky to get 2 days on a full charge...
G700s is RF which uses significantly more power then the newer generations of Bluetooth. Also their metric for "days" is probably like 4 hours of use per day or something. Edit: It actually has RF too apparently for the Unifying Receiver. So honestly I dunno -- but RF does use more battery so maybe they are just reporting Bluetooth figures only.

If its not a gaming mouse then it could have a lower polling rate, that's a big power drain on the g700s

I still have an old MX Revolution mouse somewhere. It's nice to see that they bring back the autoshift wheel that was left out with the Performance MX. I liked that feature a lot. Unfortunately the left mouse button on that old Revolution behaves a bit erratic meanwhile. This whole MX series is very comfortable. I switched to the G700S for the sheer number of buttons, but it never felt as good as the MX.

The MX Master is the new paradigm for precise, fast, comfortable computer navigation. For people who work across multiple screens, devices and operating systems, the new mouse is optimized for control... Logitech MX Master Wireless Mouse
damn them I just bought this g502 and now they make mouse the look exactly like the Mx1100 i was replacing. with almost identical button placement.. lacks buttons though..

Have you ever held MX Performance in hand? You can't possibly compare it to this tiny thing (the Anywhere MX one). Design for both hands is a non-benefit or even disadvantage for most. As for the side "scrolling" wheel, I've missed that ever since my MX Revolution died.
Yes, I have, I used to own one. I prefer the smaller design.

MX1100 is bigger then the G502 and MX Master look to be bigger then mx1100 i some ways and small in other then the mx1100, i perfer the small design , if it wasnt for the stupid placement of this thumb button on the g502 i would think it perfect.

What's with these crazy MSRPs for mice? It just seems to keep going higher and higher. Damn. The components cost practically nothing compared to the overall cost. The cost is all RND and other surrounding fees, that never changes much.

It's not a gaming mouse.
Well, yeah, but at the same time, G700(s) is a good all-around mouse. While I prefer the shape of Razer Mamba, my brother uses G700 with a lot of success in Diablo 3, BF4, and a lot of CAD and Photoshop work. And I think that unless you're some kind of progamer, being able to use mouse efficiently at work (well, gaming as a pro is some kind of work, so this applies too...) is crucial. Having responsive & precise mouse lets you do graphics-related work significantly faster. It's not 2x speedup, but significant enough to make suboptimal mouse purchase a really silly choice.

Sweet ... why so ugly?
