I suppose you are one of those who are called power users. You know about variety and proper time limit of operation. You do understand however, there are kids or teenagers out there who do not give a **** about limitations. The same goes for people over 65 years old having TV on 16h/ per day.

Not really I'd say. OLED screen max brightness is like 800nits? Personally never I use 100% OLED brightness setting, so...and as monitor usage, max brightness would "blind" u shortly(headache, sore eyes, etc). So, common sense rather would save OLEDs from burn in, as, and it was proven, burn ins happen when u watching/using at max brightness your screen, with static elements. And about 65+ ppl, I doubt they will use it at 100% all the time, most sold TV screens have power saving feature, based on light sensor, constantly on, which manages OLED brightness, thou reduces burn in risk. My 3yo c8 doesn't have burn in at all. But dead pixels, yes...same goes(with pixels) with my 3 former monitors, one TN, one VA, one IPS. Now that bothers me a lot. Like TN, had 1 dead pixl on start, but top right corner, so barely visible/noticable. But 2 other was center, and 5 cm off center. Visible while gaming. So...

You use 100% brightness with HDR content otherwise you're missing out. SDR is different.
