Looks pretty damn slick if it is.

Agree, looks very sexy, unlike nvidia latest brick.

2x 8-pins only? How dare they? 😛

It would be funny if it beats the 4090 (in raster) with just 320W ;-) Even if it doesn't beat it, being close enough (5%) would still make it a massive efficiency win! Thursday can't come fast enough...

8-Pin is rated for 342 Watts though 😛

Thursday is going to be exciting!

Looks pretty good. Seems to be on par with some of the best AIBs solutions.

Eh, an RX 7900 XTX with just 2x 8pin PCIe power connectors? Really?o_O I thought it'd be 3x 8pin...

Only two slots and 2x8 pin. Nice!

75 W pci-e slot + 300W PCI-E power connectors (150*2) = max 375W

Are my eyes failing or it looks like it's using only 8X PCI-E(the conector is 16, but it seems the connections to the board are only on the first half)

AMD had tested the cards and, because they'd proved to be blazing fast, AMD had to hobble its performance. I read this in a secret memorandum circulating around at AMD, actually read Lisa Su's copy. 😎 IF you believe that, boy, do I have a bridge to sell ya!;):D

150W, so 2*8pin = 300W + 75W(PCI-E) = Total 375W for the reference design. Custom designs should be >400W.

x3 8-pins should be plenty enough even for the true High-End flagship (7950/7970 XTX). Now price it at 1,000/1,100$ and we have the clear winner.

I agree and i propose that future AMD cards should be banned from enthusiast sites for that same reason. From now on, only GPUs with 12VHPWR power cables!:D

Wow

Looks generic and dated. Hopefully performance is top notch.

if priced right and performance is competitive i might sell the 3080 and go for a radeon. not a fan of the 4000 series so far.

Looking forward to thursday !

Well if it's 2x Raster over previous gen and it's 2.4x increase in shaders over 6950xtx, it could well equal or beat the 4090 at less watts.
