Thank you for the interview. Competing against SSD manufacturers who were also the makers of the flash chips had to be difficult. I also like the emphasis on durability and sustained performance. It won't be an easy task with TLC chips. My Vertex 1 died after being abuse for 4.5 years with very little free space, swap, browser cache etc. I didn't expect it to last that long. And perhaps it would last for longer if I was more eager to upgrade the firmware. To put it in a perspective, I'm replacing Crucial M4 for the 3rd time in 2 years, and it hasn't even been used for swap. The most of current SSDs are more than fast enough when they're new. So if OCZ/Toshiba release new SSD with good reliability, performance over time and low power consumption, I might be getting one after warranty on my M4 expires.
