rate things are going, you'll have the performance of the 8th Gen Core series, without all the hassle of replacing hardware.....lol

But you are aware it's bottlenecking your Vega 56, right? Even if you have one of those which OCs to near 5GHz.

On a 7820X I lost 90 points in Cinebench R15. Since I don't do anything sensitive on this machine, I have always manually deleted the Intel mcupdate dll microcode file in System32. Removing this file allows the system to run using only the microcode installed in the motherboard bios, which has TSX enabled. After updating to Windows 11 24H2, the system now refuses to boot if I delete mcupdate like I used to in the previous versions. I tried twice by running sfc /scannow from recovery to bring the system back in working order, it simply won't boot without the microcode file. It's not a huge loss but on an aging system losing performance is not nice.
