Hello Hilbert, when is the review? I really want to see it against the Ryzen 7x00 series and 5800X3D. Maxed out with best RAM of course. 😀

Release date is today, so reviews are probably also coming today.

Do you confirm this ?
His mouth along with all other reviewers' is zipped under NDA

Expect the review around 15:00 CET, that's pretty standard.

What games are that CPU bound that 11% is possible these days?

Ah,come on,what could happen 😛 Im interested in 13400 only though,13600kf maybe if it beats 12700k on gaming.

A lot of them actually, but few reviewers find CPU bound locations in games, they mostly just run tests on whatever location,or run built in benchmarks See for yourself, play an open world game and see how some locations require 2-3x CPU usage compared to others.

During a closed event to introduce the 13th generation of Intel Core CPUs, the firm showed slides demonstrating that the Core i9-13900K outperforms its direct opponent, the Ryzen 9 7950X, by up to 11%... Intel Core i9-13900K is 11% faster than the Ryzen 9 7950X according to leaked photos
Hilbert this is fake mate. Someone changed the 5950X to 7950X. Then lowered the quality of the image and that can be seen from the fuzz around the laberls. If we take this one from Intel 13th Gen Intel® Core™ Desktop Processors - 1 | Performance Index for the tests, not only they test on September 5th (before 7000 series was even on the market) but there is no benchmark against 7000 series recorded and was against a 3090 FTW.

It shows Intel with DD5-5800CL28 and AMD 5800x3D with DDR4-3200CL14?!?!?! WTF... LOL.... they tighten up DDR5 RAM but slowed down Ryzen 5000 and claim its faster than Ryzen 7000..
And there are no benchmarks against the 7950X but 5950X. The "leaker" changed the labels. Also, another proof is the benchmarks took place on September 5th, which is before 7950X was available on the market!

And "leaked" chart is already 4 weeks old: measurement period "7-Sep-22". If you look closer at the system specs. then omg, I really don´t know, why Intel is showing this kind of BS to us....(is it fake?) Also see "Results may vary" printed right behind the link low right corner on the picture....... The best is waiting for an objective review by HH...

They compare with the 5800x3d but with ddr4 3200 memory. I wonder when they make those bench for who they do that. How large is the DIY market for gaming vs how many people buy a prefabbed PC in some wallmart, with random specs and non optimal configuration?
The the 5950X is been tested with 3200C14 and ofc there were no 7950X tests and someone faked the photos. 🙂

Who said 7950X was designed to be a gaming CPU anyway? Its primarily designed to be a massively powerful productivity CPU for CPU intensive parallel algorithms. Not to beat some Intel CPU which was designed only for maximum frame--rates only (they still using the old ring-bus architecture to do this?)

AMD.

AMD CPUs should have released with DDR4 support and 3D cache, giving those CPUs all their chances in a difficult economic context.

AMD.
Really... you sure about that? You are saying they have said - this is the best gaming CPU we make and you should definitely buy this CPU for best gaming performance? I don't think so. They said the 3D cache CPUs are best and designed for gaming max frame-rates, not this.

Take it up with AMD, it's their marketing. https://www.amd.com/en/products/cpu/amd-ryzen-9-7950x "The Best for Gaming and Creating"...
