I really hope Arc and RDNA4 will be competitive or we are screwed.

LoL where did you get that idea ? Its at best a measly 4060TI in games ... the only one how can compete with Nvidia but cant win is AMD so far ... I know people will jump on my head but it is what it is ...

it compared to 4060 in article here and at tpu, it widely accepted that 4060 is really xx50 series and almost everything in 40xx series is seen as tier down then what nvidia is marketing it as

There should be a higher tier of the Battlemage GPUs that will have 16GB of VRAM or greater and will target 1440p, so this is likely the lower end model. Based on the Lunar Lake reviews, the Xe2 GPU cores are very strong and capable so I expect good performance from the Battlemage GPUs provided the drivers are up to par.

So this is like only 20 Xe2 cores going as hard as 32 Xe1 cores or whatever it is. So if they release similarly 32 core one it should be around 4070 ti / 4080 level. So roughly where the new "best" RDNA 4 should land. The 3.5 RDNA vs ARC 140V they are quite close to each other and similar shader count 1024. Whilst the 140V does have an edge, ARC 140V in the tests has higher bandwidth and AMD higher clocks (in theory). Not by much but still it's decent. Ofcourse Strix Halo will be the king of integrated graphics but it will also eat more powah.

The battle between AMD vs Intel is going to be interesting, if Intel can release a capable GPU. Too bad no one can compete with Nvidia...

Great and successful midrange gpus is you need to gain market share AMD and Intel know this. Let nvidia compete at high hend with itself for a while.

The issue is high end gives mindshare that trickles down. Also Nvidia is the biggest brand out of these easily.

i keep hearing this fallacy, amd cant compete with nvidia on highend, then WTF is XTX for, what these peeps mean to say, amd or intel wont bring themselves to produce gpus that consume more than 90% of the total PC Setup, which is ridiculous. actually good for them not stooping so low. now you have gpus that consume more than 2 highend computers combined ! gj nvidia fanboys.

then WTF is XTX
as with all suffixes, the illusion of performance.
