I'd rather go for a Crucial MX500 1TB - better price, better performance across the board & more warranty in terms of time (although it 'only' has 360 TBW instead of the 650 TBW @ the hp SSD) and there's even a 2TB model available for sometimes around 200 bucks or below, if you're lucky.
My 850 Pro 1TB from 09/2014 for example has now roughly 28 of 300 TBW (beeing a MLC-SSD with 10! years warranty, where the cells can be overwritten ~10000 times)
But we know, that TLC-cells can be overwritten up to 3000 times, so the max. physical write endurance is in theory @3PBW for a 1TB unit.
-> NO 'normal standard user' (what ever this may be xD) maxes out such amounts of data written. And who does, should turn his eyes on enterprise SSDs anyway...
All in all, i would leave my fingers away from that SSD, but thanks for the testing Hilbert - so we can see wether it's worth buying... 🙂

It's likely significantly higher, don't ask me how, but Samsung's older products have been able to write 7PB, and that's for the 250GB versions, so a 1TB drive would likely be able to do even better.
Use Google Translate (if you can't understand Russian), this is probably the largest SSD endurance test on the web, at least from what I could find.

Thanks for the wonderful chart!!! - the SSD with 7.5 PBW is a 850 Pro type which is a MLC-unit.
on www.heise.de they tested 2 of those drives as well - one died after 2.2 PBW and the other after 9.1 PBW(!!!)

And I shot a 850 Pro with 2TB 7 minutes ago for 202 bucks @ebay!!! YEEEEHAAAA!!!!
-> Ok, it has already 83 TBW used, but the warranty is until April 2029 and the 367 TBW left are mooore than enough for me!!! 🙂
(by the way, with an average max. of 6266.67 TBW out of an 256GB 850 Pro, that 2TB - unit should be able last up to 50 PBW... xD)
