hehe pretty cool, sadly the RGB shot looks the most "into the eye" when the lights are off ofc, but the you don't see the wooden case. Of course, good job

Very cool !

The rear exhaust fans pulling air away from the GPU air intake Front fans pushing hot air into the case and blocking ability to check if radiator is blocked. air flow is messed up. Be ok if you flipped rear fans as air intake and front fans as exhaust be perfect then. Have air direct from outside case directly on the gpu and instead of bringing in hot air from the front radiator you be extracting it.
Really? Way to be a rude dick. You're always free to submit your rig if you don't agree with ROTM. Also considering the case is open air, the air flow isn't direct one direct to another. On topic, this is really cool. I'm really digging the mirror finish inside the build!

Not my cup of tea, but I definitely appreciate the amount of time, effort, and personalization that went into this. Much more interesting than the entries that are basically nothing but high-end parts in a 2-tone color scheme with hard-tubed liquid cooling.

Neat! I would imagine something like this could go nicely with EK's wooden watercooling parts as well, although I'm not sure if they make them with the same type of wood you used as well.

having two fans pulling against each other is daft.
Which 2 fans? From what I can see, each of the case fans are all sucking air from the front and pushing out the back. The GPU is pulling air away from the exhaust fans but there's not a whole lot he can do about it, and like stated before, it's an open-air design so it's not like the GPU is sucking up hot air blown from the radiators. Sure, maybe he could flip the radiator fans to face the other direction, but that could ruin the aesthetic for a minimal gain.
im not being a cool kid im just being subjective giving my opinion. Isnt that what comments are for ?
You're allowed to dislike something, but all you're doing is giving a list of criticisms, and not in a tactful way.
Lets just praise bad layout and give bad advice then shall we. amazing case layout amazing air flow design. great using wood its an amazing heat conductor
The layout is nowhere near as bad as you make it out to be. I'm willing to bet you that the wood in this case causes less than 1C difference in temperature.

well if its open air it dont matter. having two fans pulling against each other is daft. but if case is open i dont suppose it matters much. im not being a cool kid im just being subjective giving my opinion. There's a huge difference between commenting and be flat out rude about it. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. Didn't your parents teach you that as a kid? It's open air, there is no one direction for air flow. It comes and goes from the side and top as well.

I think your idea that the air flow would work better the other way around, I think that's correct. It was probably just the way you said it that got attention. Cool case design though, wood & mirrors, why not, plus it's been done well!

I like his name, "PyroFlection"...would be interested in what motivated Mikkel's choice of exterior woods...& the idea with the mirror-reflect effect is inspired--very nice touch! It's such a simple effect--yet it's not the type of thing that would occur to me normally. As usual, half the fun is building the system--the other half is using it! Very nice...;)

Cant understand the point of exhaust fans in an open air case.

I don't see any exhaust fans, there are intakes and it looks like the air from the back of the case goes to the gpu, cool air to the gpu and exhaust out the top of the case. For the front of the case, the air is being brought in through the rad to cool the rad. Something to remember, heat rises. So it shouldn't be an issue for the back of the gpu(already having a plate on the back of it anyway).

Did you see the orientation of the fan blades near the GPU? Could be wrong if its an optical illusion, but looks oriented to blow out to me.

It's not really for exhaust, it's more for aesthetic looks 🙂
I really think this case would look good as an enclosed case (rather than open air case), which would also satisfy a couple of reasons for a case - dust prevention and creation of air flow pathways for better cooling of components. I'm not a fan of open air cases, I think they're pretty pointless, a test bench is one thing, and then you have enclosed cases on the other, I don't like the middle ground - worst of both worlds in my view! I think it's an interesting case though and it's professionally done, the wood & mirrors are quite unique, I think it would be pretty cool as an enclosed case.

A rude dick? Think maybe you're over reacting a bit there? All he did was state his opinion. Didnt see him being rude or a dick. You on the other hand were doing exactly that.
I edited the posts. Even in my quote of his original post, you don't see everything he originally posted. Back on topic now.

No you're right, I was looking at it backwards. 😀 My mistake! That being said, probably doesn't do much in an open air case but it does look cool.

I don't get the negative reactions.... I disagree with the use of mirrors and the white AIO, but that's personal choice... The "case" is tastefully done. I like the choice of recycled plywood. It looks good. I'd take one... Most I've ever done is paint a pre-fabbed case....

From a pc enthusiast stand point its pretty neat, but from a diy`ers perspective.... using cheap builders plywood doesnt do the system justice, i wood of used a better grade plywood but nice concept, also is the mobo earthed to the psu.
