I'm probably going to get some flak for this, but I have to say this rig is a bit... boring to me. Sure, it's put together very well and looks great, but there's nothing especially creative about it, and there's not much personality. For me personally, I would rather see something imperfect yet unique than a rig that's mostly just well-put-together hard line tubing and cable management. But, I understand there's a finite amount of entries to choose from. I guess it also depends on what the criteria is for RotM; if quality is the #1 priority, then sure, I could see how this would be a winner. Just an opinion, though - I'm not suggesting my thoughts carry more importance than Hilbert's.

Very clean-looking and everything is in its proper place, I love it! been meaning to build something like this for years now but $$$$$ always stops me,Maybe one day.

Nah, why would you get flak for that? Taste differs, per person - absolutely understandable. Some will love this, some will dislike it totally, others might find it a little boring, and again others will form a heart sign with their fingers when they see it.

Honestly I'm just happy that this is real water cooling, and not those silly looking AIO units....Hard line ftw.

It looks realistic!

i love it. simple and clean with minimal lighting.

Excellent build, love it, but it looks 100% better without any of the lighting - the pics with all the lighting off is when it looks great!

Who would have thought that in Anno 2018-2020+, the desired computer to have is a SteamPunk machine ? That said, my next build will probably be a custom loop as well ^.^ And it will NEED it... saving up for TR 2950X with all bells and whistles.

Nothing wrong with aio`s, after many years of messing with custom liquid cooling aio`s offer simple hassle free effective cooling, unfortunately life dictates that i work so i would rather have what free time that i have to go on my computer to game and not spend time maintaining my water cooling. That said... the builder has made good use of the limited space although im not sure he needs 2 rads.

Well, the builder said he's limited to only 4.8Ghz on his 7700K due to CPU temperature issues, so it looks like he needs it. If he had delidded his CPU then maybe it would be a different story, but as it stands 4.8Ghz on a 7700K under water cooling is quite poor - I've got 4.7Ghz on a less voltage efficient 6700K under air cooling (delidded), so he's missing out by not delidding (but he did say as much in the article).

I don't have an issue with AIO's, what I have an issue with is seeing everyone on PCMR saying they're running a fancy watercooling setup when they're running an AIO, which most of them are the same Asetek pumps and blocks.
