The last question has two possible answers, really 🙂

Hey hilbert, i think there might be a mistake in the competition answers, * How much does the D15 weigh (fans exclusive) * did you mean to say inclusive? cause according to the Noctua website specifications for the NH D15, the weight without fans (which is what i assume you meant by fans exclusive) is not among the choices in the answer form, however the weight WITH fans is one of the available options in the answer form.

Yes, the last question has two possible answers. Single or dual fans? And I think he meant fans excluded for the second question.

I thought he meant "excluded" (in the article linked it's stated as one of the possible choices given).

if he meant excluded, then there isnt a correct answer in the answer options provided, as the weight without fans according to the noctua website does not match any of the options given. Hmm so just read through HH's review of the cooler, and his review lists the weight without fans as different then the weight without fans listed on the noctua website Also, yeah... two answers for the last question, depends on if its single or dual fan... HH needs to be a little more specific in questions for this one.

That's why you should read the article instead, I guess...

Yes, you are both right ! The last question doesn't state if there is only one fan or two mounted, as the results are different ! As for the weight of the product in guru's review there is a 20 grams difference from the manufacturers website ! Anyway good luck everyone !
Always assume a default configuration - ergo dual fan (I'll stipulate that more clear in the form) and please seek the answers in the linked article (as mentioned).

not to be a wiseguy, but the cooler, or better said the fans have a wrong orientation in regards to the mobo orientation. Like this they would suck in the cold air and than blow the warm air into the case ^ ^

Just couple days ago in EKWB contest i mention NH D-15 as viable alternative to water cooling to guys who are afraid of leaks, and guess what today they have chance to win one 🙂:):)

Amazing how you guys always manage to overthink stuff? I clearly mention you need to look for the answer in the article (not the Noctua website). Apparently, over time Noctua revised the specs a bit. So again, look at the article, fans excluded .. thus the block.

Another great prize!!! But ti think i´m gonna skip this one because i don´t have any CPU that requires this kind of cooling and because i think this beast is to big for my case... Good luck for everyone that enters this contest! Hilbert, is there a VEGA card giveaway incoming in the next days???

Thx for the awesome contests! Hilbert, can same person win many prizes? If not, how is it dealt with?
Ha, you're feeling lucky!

Actually, I would not block that or do anything about it. A person enters each contest separately, these are not tied together. Statistically, the chances of that happening are incredibly slim though, neither has it ever happened before in all those years. But if one person would win say 2 or three or more prices, hey ... he entered all competitions, did the work and thus he is eligible to win.

Thanks again Guru3d for a chance to win a fab prize , Good luck all 🙂

Honestly, I think I'd prefer this over the EK system.

Interesting... If you don't mind me asking, what's the average amount of submissions?

Funny i always thought that one person could only win one prize each year and i think that should be the limit. Bot that it matters because like you said the chance of winning more than once is very small.

Well just checking web stats returns about 14mil. visits in last 6months. And when you consider what cheapskates 😉;) they are (giving just titen xp and not titanV) with their prizes , you can count on couple 10k per contest, and i wouldn't be suprised if it's 100k+.

True, but then you have to consider situations where you may need to subscribe to something, or the people who don't feel like putting an effort in to answer questions. There's also the situation of people who may only visit once a week (or less), where some of these contests will expire. At that point it becomes much more gray as to how many submissions there are. But, I would think it's somewhere in the tens of thousands.
