BIOS for my Elite was released a week ago. Not tried it yet but feels nice to be ready for the 5000 launch.

So Q-Flash without CPU works for ALL their X570 and B550 motherboards?
emperorsfist
It does on a Gigabyte x570 AURUS Elite, can't speak for the rest of them.

Did you guys install F31b or F31 final?
They will put F31 on the site today, can take a while sometimes.

Vanished for B550 AORUS ELITE which my friend owns. He didn't install it though, I said wait till a couple of days before 5000 series is launched.

Yeah just noticed F31 got updated again.
Still a beta though F31D now but getting close, think I updated to F31B about a week ago so I either missed C entirely or they skipped it. 😀
Must be some last couple of tweaks for the R-5000 no other issues with the B bios thus far but it's basically additional memory tweaks and the 1.1.0.0 AGESA.
(With performance fixes for Carizzo which I think is the Zen3 CPU name.)
Still a few potential bugs like the bios dropping to defaults on a longer powered down state and occasional memory compatibility posts from what I've read, I assume that's memory kit related as the XMP support is good but not perfect.
(Some kits have good profiles for it some don't and some motherboards have funny tweaks, Giga going by what it reports seem to add a touch extra voltage for stability for what I'm using at least.)

I think it's the same across all three should be the same bios download so that shouldn't be a issue long as it's for the same motherboard since the downloads for these do differ though I do not know the specifics for what the later 1.2 revision actually does nor have I found any info at all on this.
1.1 appears to be primarily adding a Thunderbolt pin to the 1.0's existing tracing but lack of actual connector, some suggestions on tweaks to the board but nothing I've found that confirms this.
1.2 revisions popped up a few months later but nobody seem to know what these contain these are hardware revisions far as I know so it's not as simple as just containing the 1.0.6.0+ later AM4 ComboPi2+ what it was AGESA by default.
Doesn't seem to be a stripped down cost reduction thing either so that's good at least.
EDIT: Although since Gigabyte insists on separate product pages for these sometimes downloads are delayed for some of these so that can be a problem too getting a earlier than what's actually the latest available bios update due to this.
Should be a single 1.0/1.1/1.2 page but instead it's separated with the same files on all three.
(Most of the time when a update isn't missed.)

I don't have a Gigabyte but just a heads up about a possible bug with 1.0.0.0b which I had installed with my Asus mobo yesterday. The system came to a hard crash out of the sudden without any BSOD. It's never happened before over the 3, 4 months I've used this board.
I went back to previous 1.0.8.0 bios and so far it seems stable again.
So again, don't rush to change the bios, it might not be ready for release. I might even wait for the CPU change to happen end of November instead of 5th. Black Friday and all, but above all likely a more solid bios.

BIOS for B550 was up long time ago ( 3 or 4 weeks ?).
