How did "influencer" become an acceptable job title?!

If this is the future, then I don't like it one bit. This is a huge minus in my book for the green team. "Influencers", what a joke. Is this card targeted to teenagers and the TikTok generation? I don't believe anyone older than 25 cares one bit about influencers and instead have their own opinions instead of being fed bullsh*t by less intelligent "persons" who have very narrow views of the world.

Influencers are getting out of hand. The situation is practically an influenza already.

JayzTwoCents further tarnishing what little credibility he had. He's nowhere close to the likes of GamersNexus or Linus and friends when it comes to tech knowledge, and now he sells out

BLEH!:

A suburbia hooker is a more respectful job.

HUB can only publish those picked by AMD tho. No one cares about influencers or 4060 too. People will buy 3060ti/6700xt instead.

I mean, they are not targeting us, they are targeting VERY casual youtube viewers who will youtube 4060. It's nVidia so 0 surprise there. The truth is that it will do the same as TV ads: They will work for a few years, then people will automatically assume you are lying. I mean, I already assume that. So it will eventually trickle down to the casual consumer. JayTwoCents is not as credible as GN, but he has some credibility (this shit is not black and white).

All sounds above board and honest. Lol

So now those early videos will be the first popping up on youtube when searching for "rtx 4060 review". I would have done the same if I was Nvidia head of marketing, and I still don't like it. If anyone is to blame, it's Nvidia strategy more than influencers as we're talking about GPU reviews not crypto mining/gambling etc... Those videos are not reviews, they're paid marketing materials and should be taken as such.

I know an influenza. It amazes me at what stuff they get to promote. I am pretty sure one will make a 4060 look spectacular with his/her DJI mini pro. 😛 🙄 Flying over crashing waves past sea birds and up a water fall, over the tree canopy and into some ones gaming room. 😳

This will be the trend onwards.

Not surprised at all. I don't understand what's the "news" here. That's why I always wait for the later reviews, because they are not paid to only talk well about products.

Excellent statement by Guru3d here, fearlessly and truthfully describing the situation as it stands. I believe this does damage the reputations of the youtubers listed to some extent. Business is business, but viewers are looking to tech reviewers to have the consumer's best interest in mind and objectively report on the product in an unbiased manner. These "previews" do the exact opposite, as has already been stated by the original and one of the few real ones left in my opinion; Guru3d.

Well with delusional YT reviewers who keep spouting 8GB GPU are dead in 2023 nonsense, maybe YT influencers are more informative LOL

"...to release carefully curated benchmarks..." In this context "curated" means cherry-picked and misleading. Anyone with an ounce of tech-savvy will ignore these benchmarks and wait for the non-curated (i.e. "honest") benchmarks from reputable reviewers.

Effectively, it means any YouTube Chanel that has published early results can no longer be trusted for any reviews. If they are willing to do this, how can you trust them to give honest reviews in the future?

Not funny, just sad. Paid promotion is known bias, influencers are the same but not yet as widely regarded as. Hopefully the penny will drop soon. Nvidia flexing their muscles by getting big channels on board for an aggressive DLSS3 push. Guessing raw performance is similarly lacking to other cards of this generation in this price bracket.

NVidia manipulating media coverage. Who could have imagined such a thing.
