Well, things are improving slightly. A couple of weeks back I couldn't find anything in stock, retail or scalpers. Now there's some availability, albeit prices are still grossly inflated. Nevertheless, it's a start. And yes, I'm seeing some miners offloading their entire 3080-based rigs on local auctions.

They might have them in stock, but these prices are still obscene. What was the msrp on the 3070? €520?
KissSh0t
€520 would be about $822 for me...
The current price for 3070 for me is nearly $2000
actually...... a few are literally $1999

Nvidia I am paying more and your giving us less. GFYN and Nvidia been doing this stuff for years. I just do not understand why people think this is a good thing.

I wouldn't have known it either.

58 is still a lot.
Unless the crypto market itself crashes, there won't be any affordable GPUs anywhere. New "Ti" series won't make any difference.

I simply worked it out
When you grow up going from things like aol messenger, msn ect ect you just understand it

Compared to a 3090 which is upto around 125MH/s then the 3080Ti won't really be worth it. Especially when you see the price of both cards.
Using 300w+ and only achieving 58MH/s is bad when a 3060Ti can do that at half the power used and at a fraction of the cost.

with such a consumption and a hash rate, the card is of no value to miners and I think at a price more than 3070 mine produces 64.3 hashes 126w with a downvolt on the core
in russia, electricity is also relatively inexpensive, but cards 3080/3090 are already the cost of a supported car practically)
I do not know how tricky shops and NVidia will justify the prices if it is even more expensive than 3080)

$1200
Mwahahahaha... what a joke.

Yup, AMD FRS made my 6900 XT Reference model happy for $999.
