It's coming, but we are not sure at what year...

If is 20gb but no extra shaders, what performance should we expect? same?

Same performance as 3080 but with 20GB and $800 MSRP, but $1000 actual. 3080Ti will have $1000MSRP but be $1200+ actual.

If the rest of the card is exactly the same as the 3080, there will only be performance difference when an application or a game knows how to use the RAM and were kinda bottlenecked with 10GB. So, yeah.

Ti should never have the same amount of memory with non ti. If 3080 ti is bound to happen, that it is then. If not, this will be the only intermediary between 3080 10gb and 3090. Time will tell.

I swear there hasn't been a card that was so often rumored, then canceled, then rumored, then canceled, then rumored again in my recent memory. I expect the next news article on it to be of another cancelation.

These articles should all be called something like "Scalpers / Miners get ready! New 3080 incoming!"

Adding salt to the wound with gddr6x shortages?!

Don't be nervous, won't be able to get one of those in 2020, even if they release it, at all.

Sorry, but i can´t help it. I always become extremely nervous about unreleased or delayed hardware that i´m not going to buy anyway... Now back to see some more relaxing videos to calm my mind...

I can't imagine there are gddr6x shortages, its literally GDDR6 with different signaling.

I wonder if they've been holding back a bunch of chips on purpose just to sell the 10g one(perhaps with a bad IMC?) while they bide their time in fixing an issue?

What issue could they have? The 3090 already uses the same configuration.

Gamers in December 2021 will be like "member the days we could buy graphic cards?"

Hey I'm just wondering how they plan on fulfilling not only the 3080 back log but the demand for the future product. So it would be possible that they were holding back on stock because of some issue.
