Win10 Pro, I don't have KB5041582, KB5041587. Only KB5043064, KB5042097. May or may not be, my impression was the performance update was only for Win11.

I think it's a preview right now: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/august-29-2024-kb5041582-os-build-19045-4842-preview-f4c4d191-5457-475c-80ac-e1d43cf9c941 So you only get it if you opt into beta/test/whatevertheycallit update channel. Also, it's apparently not a big deal on W10 anyway. The problem in W11 was really bad. It made some games perform 20% slower compared to W10, and maybe 3% faster than W10 after the fix. So the W10 fix is about improving perf by about 3% or so. Nothing to start stressing about. I'll just wait for next month when the fix goes stable.

These drivers makes Cyberpunk 2077 crash on my rig with the error "The description for Event ID 153 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found" in the Even viewer. I reinstalled the 560.94 and no more crashes....
no they don't.

It is an older problem not the fault of the 561.91 driver. You did something wrong when installing the new driver https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/the-description-for-event-id-153-from-source/296e5a13-32e7-4a61-b73c-2d8cd2837cf0

There has never been a confirmed branch prediction code update for windows 10. This update has already been tested and it's either worse performance or margin of error and the 3% some have gotten is most likely from the memory leak fixes in this update. Again there's not been a single mention from anyone about a windows 10 update for it, it's all just been people claiming so on forums and Reddit nothing official.

yes there was
I'd like to see your official confirmed evidence of such.

Additional observation: looking in detail, example Chernobylite: max / ultra everything, including ray tracing ultra at 4k on 556.12 no dlss is --> 220+ FPS average, 300+ FPS Max on 561.09 max / ultra everything, including ray tracing ultra at 4k on 561.09 no dlss is --> 177 FPS average, 262 FPS Max seems significant drop in performance in this driver anyone else see the same in Chenobylite?

as today's game requirements have become you have to be a developer to play a AAA game πŸ˜‰:D:)

My Dude, if those results are correct, someone somewhere seriously messed up 😱 TBH, with this driver & the previous driver, I have noticed no perf regression at all. Code stability has improved somewhat as I now boost to 2100 with +90 core OC & +1000 mem OC & remaining stable (No driver crashes, errors thrown or artefacts from mem OC). Not tested that particular game but those are my observations in everyday gaming use πŸ™‚ Edit : Rt also seems to have improved stability, especially if OC'ing the card. previous drivers would crash under DX12 & RT if using an agressive OC. Now quite happy it would seem...:D

I am developer (not a game developer but still) and I can assure you that I can develop even on potato nettop PC (with Celeron CPU) just fine. It is a myth that development requires super hardware.

Studio drivers are out if anyone is interested in them:

I don't know if it is just me, but I have a lot of Artifacts in the snowy Temple (Chapter 3) of Black Myth: Wukong with these. Went back to 560.94 and the Artifacts are way lower - just like you will always have with Frame Generation. I even had Artifacts when I scrolled text in the Diary of the game where you can read the stories of the enemies.

I am developer, game developer. And my work requires fastest hardware money can buy. Of course, I can waste my time waiting for compilation of shaders, assets, code with Celeron onboard, but why?

Don`t waste time waiting - stand up, go to the window, brew tea/coffee/cacao, flirt with someone, exchange new gossips... Of course, Celeron is bit uncomfortable and I prefer more performant rig, but - I don`t know about game development - in my development cycle I work maybe half an hour or an hour before I compile and debug binaries - and for that period rig is essentially a typewriter. I am curious what would be difference in your line of work between hardware from top tier and hardware from tier one level down - twice time for compilation of shaders, assets and code?
