i haven't seen more than 2-3 fps difference with vs without the profile.
I am at 1440p, max settings, Raytracing off, DLSS Quality with 3090 Strix and 9900ks CPU.
Usually fps is above 110. And the new driver gave me quite a boost. Especially in busy areas with lots of NPC's.
The driver really gave me a noticeable improvement.
With the old drivers my GPU load never went above 96% and now its always 99-100%.
And with the fix applied, it is like with the old driver.
I did a couple of 1:1 comparisons. So for me, the decline of performance is there.
Exactly what it sounds like, don't make absolute statements when you can't be sure. Especially in his case when it was obvious he was wrong. He was basically calling everyone who reported that issue retarded, said that the issue was a them thing, and insists anyone who complains about nVidia is "whining", when he was dead fucking wrong. Anyone who accuses someone of "whining" is typically gaslighitng. Any other questions?
I'm going to pull a him now.

No it isn't.
Better now that you actually spelled it out, thanks.

I've forwarded some debuglayer tracing to CDPR, their game is a mess and i'm sure they could improve both performance and fix this issue by cleaning that up.
I encountered an error on CP2077 on the map page. Description of the error is : when scrolling on the map (for example using the mouse to drag), the 3d form/mesh of the buildings and roads is messed up, and appears as garble in rectangles. The key points such as service points , gig locations etc are however fine.
But when I rebooted and also did a cleanup (probably the d3d cache) and restarted , it was ok. I can't remember exactly what I did, probably renamed the cache directory in appdata local and let it regenerate and restarted the game.
Just be aware that nvidia released an update. It gets applied when you boot/reboot your PC. I think it went live Wednesday. I removed the update to the profiles manually, but it gets reapplied every time I reboot my system.
With this driver my gpu is using 80-99% when im on idle only if my Power management mode is on Maximum performance and Texture filtering-Quality on High performance. With default settings gpu drops on 65-70% on idle, but the visuals artifact persists on CP2077 map and I saw these problems on A Plague Tale Requiem and Uncharted Legacy of thieves.
After I installed the previous drivers, all of these problems disappeared.
