Do not download if you are currently playing CP 2077. The map is broken, you can't see anything. Performance however, is quite a bit better

There are no issues with cyberpunk and this driver.

[Forza Horizon 5] Rainbow like artifacts in game after driver update. [3685123] Why , but why this is still an issue with the game ? it has been a very long time bug and has not been fixed yet 🙄

There are issues with the drivers. Mentioned by many in the CDPR Forums and Nvidia Forums. Tried it myself by downgrading the driver. This is caused by the recent driver update. Just because you to not have an issue, doesn't mean that it does not exist.

no there aren't, have tested both 522 drivers on Cyberpunk without any of these user errors occurring, do a clean driver install and purge the d3d shader cache with disk cleanup / storage sense app. inb4 drivers getting blamed for discord overlay or nahimic overlay breaking things, again.

Because Playground Games hasn't fixed it yet

Ok so because you do not have any issues, the issue does not exist for any other gamer?

Issues occuring for other gamers occur because of unique circumstances on their machines, i've tried 5 machines so far with graphics cards ranging from 2060 supers to 3080ti's and not been able to replicate what is being shown in the supplied images

I appreciate your help. I tried all the things you mentioned but still having this issue. The only thing that fixed it was downgrading to the previous driver.

Top quarter of the map in CP2077 is distorted and unreadable for me, but performance increase is noticable. Nice driver, if they do some fixes.

This driver killed my family again. Cyperpunk went supernova too. Thanks Jensun. I'm not even joking when I say I'm looking forward to switching to AMD so I don't have to deal with nVidia drivers anymore. I never thought the day would come when I'd say that.

Seems most of these performance upgrades to DX12 effect mainly 1080p. I see a small uplift of frames in Cyberpunk at 1440p but it's hardly increased in other games i've tested so far. (no issue with Cyberpunk map) I can't really test much because i never took any previous results down. Control, BF2042 and F1 2022 all seem fine and running smoothly.

no map issues on my old GTX 1070, but improved performance even on old card

Did you do do a clean driver install or install over the top, it seems this doesn't happen for the hardware i'm testing on, same as Reddoguk @Reddoguk maybe DSC or 4k dlss is responsible? oh, do you have ReBar disabled?, thats literally one of the major changes in this driver, the addition of a Rebar config.

I'm looking forward to seeing you whine about AMD driver issues

Clean install, as usual. ReBar active. Tried a few diff DLSS version but no change. Its annoying but no big deal as far as game play, at least not for me. Map is still usable, just..meh..

You sure are aggressive with calling any complaint about nGreedia "whining". That's one of the shittiest forms of childish gaslighting there is. The last time I had an AMD card for an extended period of time it took them 12 full months to fix major problems, but at least they fixed them. I've had this 3080 for 2 years now and I keep getting nasty surprises every update.

There's also a pretty weird af Task Manager bug with this driver update. Open up TM and GPU usage is crazy while idle, up, down and 100% more often than not.
this is a hags issue to my knowledge.

Still haven't seen it myself, but theres a cyberpunk cache file that might be relevant %LOCALAPPDATA%\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077\cache. delete GamePipelineLibrary.cache

Thanks, but that made no difference to me. I'm just gonna wait it out until some form of official solution comes out, no big deal.

I never bothered with ReBar personally because it helps some games but is worse in other games. I did an install over the top of the old driver but i did clear out the DirectX shader cache first. The Task Manager thing is weird. I've never seen it do that before while idle. It goes 1%, 22%, 1%, 22% on the gpu and makes a graph that looks like a rip saw blade. Cpu also does that now but a much smaller saw blade like a hacksaw. It wasn't like that before. Before it just basically stayed on 1-2% in idle but now it's up and down every second. Cpu looks like this - ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ and gpu looks the same but larger spikes.

i already ruled it out as a reason for not experiencing it, because turing users don't even have the capability, it must be windows itself as a factor at this point

This is a HAGS issue when enabled on gpu's with native aspm turned on.
