Weird it installed some very old drivers(before Rebar) that I don't even have at my pc for first but reinstall gladly worked π I just did DDU uninstall stuff with the last drivers to be clean might need to do it once again, again.

You might have to tick the "Prevent downloads of drivers..." option in DDU Settings again in case a Windows Upgrade Update has reset that flag (which it tends to do).
frack nvidia, 80% does not have 4k, instead of fixing what people complaining about, they fix what they want π‘ π:(
Excuse me? Nvidia screwed up the 4K@100/120 support in the latest official driver, which this hotfix is for.
So, just because you are broke/jealous/whatever people with those setups should be okay with that?

Broke and jealous? Wtf are you on?! That is some insane mental gymnastics right there. 4k screens don't cost a fortune lol
Don't act as if you're something better.

I'm not jealous, Nvidia always fixing things for 4k, 3xxx cards, useless features, and in the past SLI shit, and i'm fed up with that behaviour, that's all π

IKR? When i paid 2.5k Euro for my monitor i knew it was dirt cheap... /s
Maybe you should just read what exactly my comment was response to.
interesting, i kept having issues with the other 466.x drivers. The gpu wouldn't send signal if it had set the screen asleep and the tv had been turned off; half the time on turning the tv back on I would still have no signal (with LG C9 4k@100hz). I've been using 461.92 the last few days, they don't seem to have the issue.
I may give these a go.
Sometimes it doesnt work, i dont know why..happened to me also, its weird.
I'm pretty sure every so often M$ flags a driver as a security update instead of driver, and if you don't have that version or newer, it will force an update no matter what. You have to completely disable windows updates or disconnect internet before driver removal to be be sure your new driver install will not be "hijacked" by M$.
I like to to it with a registry file "toggle and reboot" that completely blocks all windows updates until toggled back on (windows update attempts will just give you a glorious "something went wrong" error, best error ever!). Copy/paste the following into two "named-what-you-like.reg" text files and double click them to use + reboot for effect:
Windows Updates Disabled.reg
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate]
"DoNotConnectToWindowsUpdateInternetLocations"=dword:00000001
"DisableWindowsUpdateAccess"=dword:00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU]
"UseWUServer"=dword:00000001
Windows Updates Enabled.reg
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate]
"DoNotConnectToWindowsUpdateInternetLocations"=-
"DisableWindowsUpdateAccess"=-
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU]
"UseWUServer"=-
EDIT: This assumes you don't already have an unwanted driver from windows updates stored in "C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository".
Check and/or remove unused, stored drivers with Driver Store Explorer. A no-bloat, light, portable, handy little program.
EDIT2: So far so good with these drivers. No problems.
Selfish snob
Yeah you'r right, 456.89 is the last best driver π
You sir/madam are irrelevant. Good Bye.
Now back to what matters in this thread. Nvidia screwed the pooch and released a dud driver. Par for the course for the last 4-5 years; AMD is no better but they break things in other ways. They were quicker to catch it than the norm and issue a hotfix driver. Now if they can just get a handle on making and distributing 3000 series cards; guess they will figure it out eventually. Should not be launching new products if they cannot secure sufficient parts to manufacture said products. Just creates animosity with the customers. Should not have to pay triple MSRP for a product that should have wide spread distribution.

It was not hard to guess that i made a mistake, and that i mean 465.89 smart man/woman
