Strange shadows appearing and dissapearing when i move my mouse back and fort, RDR2, 466.11 . And now i begin to afraid to use this driver, 1060 6gb. Don't know which driver to use anymore.
Hi. What api you're running the game on? What monitor do you use?

No issues here, but not as smooth and strong as 465.89, there are some fps drops and little bit stuttering, i'll see, if not i'll revert to 465.89 😉:)

I always end up going back to the 457.51's

This could also be a cable issue if you really have an 8k TV. Try another Ultra High Speed HDMI cable if possible.
cricket bones:

I don't have an 8k TV, but I had a cable issue with hdmi a while back and it was the last thing I would have thought was the problem.
Its not the cable Ive tried 2 of these Ultra high speed ones. Massive cables. The driver before the last one was fine. Scaling worked and the TV res was the correctly recommended res of 8k Ive been sending my crash dumps and BSODs to Manual Guzman because I get crashes when I start some games for the first time with the new TV whenever the side monitor is connected Its still an issue 2 months later and nvidia really havent done much testing at 8k for quality control as support isnt great on the 3090 despite them doing all the promo on the video of launch of Doom Eternal in 8k which is nice but yea. Broken on desktop

Some manufacturers slap on the G-Sync compatible label without even asking Nvidia, even seen some remove it from their product page a while after. Can't really blame Nvidia for not adding G-Sync compatibility in their drivers for those displays.
You don't understand. It's not about AOC "label" but about official Nvidia g-sync compatible certificate: https://i.imgur.com/HsljIok.jpg

That's interesting. I don't see the Gigabyte KD25F on their Gsync Compatible list. So it needs a certificate?

Dude you should be writing Nvidia a thank you letter for supporting a freesync monitor on Nvidia drivers. Your 144Hz refresh and AMD FreeSync Premium adaptive sync technology monitor may be added one day but it makes no real world difference whatsoever. Stop with the sillyness ,does Nvidia have you that brainwashed that you think it needs to be on the Nvidia list today, that is some next level stuff.

No you don't get it. If AOC 24G2W1G4 isn't on the list but promoted as such by AOC it is as I wrote. Nividia only certifies monitors that: 1. Have been applied to be certified by the manufacturer 2. Pass all internal testing for the certificate The G4 panel obviously differs slightly from the G8, enough to make it fail. Anyway, why care if a FreeSync monitor didn't make it to that list when it can be forced via NVCPL? Anyhow, how does the driver work out for you? Runs fine on my end, no issues so far.

Working fine, no problems.

Have not experienced any issues yet!

Finally! A drive that lets me play COD CW and P3d5 without crashes using my GeForce 1070 .

As of the last conversation with Manuel (15/4), this has not been root caused yet, issue could be Client Side or Driver as updates for both landed when the issue began.
I think It's more on driver issue, I have the fatal error crash with 466.11 and It happen every time in the middle of game session, roll back to 461.92 and everything is fine for 3 days now.

Wrappers seems to work better in this than the latest preview drivers.

There aint no micro/stutters on my Intel system with fully updated Windows 10. There is however only one game stuttering from time to time, that is Division 2. It's not the system or drivers or Windows. It's their Ubisoft servers or whoever hosts or the shoddy game net-code that causes the stutters which has been ongoing for at least 6 months now. Since TU11.
You have an Ampere card?I experience random micro stutters on my 3080 that were not there on my old 1080ti on driver 442.59 Currently on 466.11 https://i.imgur.com/uQSUgw2.png latencymon shows these spikes on 466.11 and the one before it.On 457.51 there's no DPC latency spikes. Random 15ms-25ms frametime spikes still persist on 457.51 tho. From what I observed the higher the gpu usage the more frequent they become. Issue seems to be much worst when I play on 1440p and the issue gets reduced drastically on 1080p 144hz.(seriously thinking of selling my current 1440p/165hz monitor and just get a 1080p 144hz gsync monitor) I managed to catch my frametime while playing vermintide 2 on my current PC 3080/9900k@4.7ghz/970 evo/16gb ddr4: https://i.imgur.com/XK7zzBs.png This on 1440p. On 1080p its MUCH smoother.I even watched my brother playing on my old 1080ti(driver 442.XX/9700k and his frametime was so much smoother. This was on the same resolution/settings. [youtube=XLrp8EhLM10] [youtube=LJg3bgpf-Ck] [youtube=_LaZnsTtlB8] [youtube=Yc9O1yNg4dA] [youtube=Nzc1p-vm7W0] few videos with the 3080. Hate to post the same things over and over again but there you go. Already tried clean installing w10/reseating gpu/ram. Tried like 5 different drivers with DDU and I have all overlays off/hardware accel off in discord/chrome. https://imgur.com/a/xRXG39s My installed programms.Nothing should be interfering. I've also met ppl with similar issues on their 3k card and I'm wondering if its just us or the majority of ppl are just not as sensitive to micro stutter and are "fine" with the current performance of ampere cards.
https://forums.guru3d.com/data/avatars/m/262/262759.jpg
On these drivers now after a DDU but still getting problems changing resolutions with the side 4k monitor connected. Windows freezing at startup if ive accidently left the 8k tv in a res it doesnt really support at all like 4096x2160 it freezes so I have to reboot with just the tv connected. reinstall drivers. plug in monitor again and then set the resolution again because somewhere with both connected it has a config saved to the last state. So if i try to change it back to 8k it might freeze and maybe i get lucky on the hard reboot and its actually saved at 8k . What a serious pain and Manuel I am getting sick of this now how many times do I have to report the same damn thing for 4 months.

Your monitor resolutions are store here: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\Configuration HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\Connectivity HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\ScaleFactors The monitor name might not match, for example my LG monitor is listed as GMS7707 You could attempt to manually delete the keys and then reconnect the TV to detect it again, if you decide to give it a try, make sure to create a restore point before deleting the keys, just in case.

With the res its only been wrong since 465. Like the one before that it was fine but yea ok ill try that I got a combined GSM0001 and BNQ7950 which looks like the right config.

This driver is shit, stick to 456.89 😀:)
data/avatar/default/avatar39.webp
I want to share something, with those and 466.11 drivers I have video driver crash but only in very old games like Tomb Raider 4, Vampire Redemption etc. I tried everything, turns out to be an power setting issue, when I switch it from ''normal'' to max performance'' no more driver crashes in old games, the problem is in ''max performance'' my clock won't go down and GPU is using around 130w while idling.. So I downloaded Nvidia Inspector and set power mode to ''adaptive'' and changed from ''multi display config'' to ''single display config'' (since I only have one monitor) Another workaround was to use older drivers, 457.30 was working perfectly fine for me, but I would lost other fixes and drivers optimizations for newer games. So I prefer Nvidia Inspector method. So far so good, no driver crashes and my GPU is idling properly. Maybe this will help somebody. Edit: They still crash unless I run them in profile with ''prefer maximum performance'' sigh..

This seems legit due to the emojis.
