I did, but even if I had forgotten, it would have forced a rebuild anyway. It does every time a driver, OS version, and who knows what else changes.
ok, just gunna copypasta what i do for all performance oddities that come up with driver updates Fill it out: https://forms.gle/kJ9Bqcaicvjb82SdA https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3507/~/how-to-generating-an-event-trace-log-for-gpuview-to-troubleshoot-performance https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4749/ send to driverfeedback@nvidia.com using the same email you provided in the feedback form.

Since I have G-Sync compatible monitor I am confused and reluctant to install drivers which state the removal of several G-Sync compatible monitors support...

mbk1969: I have a cheap BenQ EX3203R - 2560x1440 144Hz with Freesync2 (24Hz-144Hz with low FPS compensation) and no problems whatsoever with this driver. It behaves the same as previous drivers for me, no black screens or flickering of any sort. The "G-SYNC Compatible" switch in Control panel remains set as before after rebooting. And it is not even the "Certified by NV" model. So maybe some incompatibility with firmware in other monitor brands?

Got a core clock frequency decrease though only 2 fps difference in The Division 2 benchmark. Did some undervolting (0.950V) and got my frequencies back up (but even higher than before) up to 2010-2025MHz (depending on the game), voltage still not super stable so I probably have to bring it down a notch. Still no crashes of any kind which is nice.

Its checked 4x at the start of a windows session and then never again after, bit pointless to remove something when someone could drop a new gpu in at any time (and this is a supported practice of nvidia's drivers regardless of what the DDU worshippers proclaim)
the log file will keep logging, and it is supper easy to not copy the library _nvtopps.dll and it can be added it again by editing the info, but if I edit the info file the driver will not be signed and can't be installed.

It doesn't keep logging.

I have noticed that SLI is gone in the latest Nvidia drivers. Checked this and indeed Nvidia stopped with SLI profiles. But now all my "old" games that benefit from SLI, like Ghosts etc, are not taking advantage from SLI . So I have an obsolete video card and the other one is working overtime. I cannot install older driver's because Nvidia install procedure is stopped because it can not work with my updated W10 version?? So Nvidia Software is completely blocking install and SLI in more ways. I have contacted Nvidia and they are working on it!! , but does anyone else have this problem?? Or a solution?? Nvidia tells me the newest driver is still supporting SLI , but it seems they removed the "old" profiles Thanks in advance
Erm, no, thats not happening at all. Any SLI system prior to 3090s will keep supporting legacy(hack) SLI.

It's adding them back.

Is the valve index HDCP error fixed? It’s not listed in the Known Issues anymore.
We are still working with Valve on this issue.

Right back to Fallout 4 CTD's during game loading. Sigh.
Can you describe your issue and you may need to update your profile.

@ManuelG - any word on a fix for 30 series getting stuck in 3d clocks at idle regardless of power settings?
Can you share more info on the issue you are describing?

Any guess/idea for when that one is coming out? Like, in a week, two weeks, three+... I might just hold out for it then if it's sooner rather then later, to save me from constant drivers updating.

This is probably something that GFE should fix but I thought I'd retest a bug with control panel sharpening not being visible on GFE screenshots because a new GFE beta was released since previously reported. Bug is still present, unfortunately. 456.55 and beta GFE 3.20.5.48 (previously tested 452.06 and GFE 3.20.4.14).
I filed a bug for this when you original reported it (https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/geforce-452-06-game-ready-driver-download-and-discussion.433767/page-3#post-5819084) but QA was not able to reproduce it. Any additional information that you could share that might help them?

Hey Manuel, is there an ETA on when this will come to Apex? Cheers!
Sorry but I do not know

Ohmer:

As with 456.38, Adaptive Sync will not "stick" with this driver after a reboot. It still works, but I have to toggle the "Enable settings for the selected display model" check box in NVCP after each reboot. It then functions perfectly until the next reboot. Even though my monitor is not "Certified" it has always worked perfectly up to and including 452.22. I only have 1 display - LG 38WK95C-W FreeSync Monitor - DDU Safe mode used - Full driver package installation (minus GFE). @ManuelG I've just submitted a feedback form.
Thanks. Got the feedback

Thanks. My monitor is listed as certified, hence my anxiety.

Games that use PhysX like Batman Arkham Knight still experience performance issues with these drivers.

I'm not sure if driver changes can actually do anything to improve VRR experience, apart from fixing general bugs and overriding faulty EDIDs.

physx is never going to run properly with HAGS.

Or removing certain monitors from (internal) list of supported models.

Well, yes. Though that's just ticking one checkbox more as an obstacle.
