Seems that a new driver helped alot of people with CTD with Ampere cards https://new.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/j1ccfq/game_ready_driver_45655_faqdiscussion/
@Hilbert Hagedoorn I do wonder if there is some performance regression with this CTD fix? It seems like you would want to lower boosts or add some levels of boosting to more slowly ramp up to reduce the large current demands. Anyhow I think its worth testing a couple games to see if there is a performance regression.

Is the DCH control panel more up to date than the standard control panel or do the version numbers not correspond to the same thing between the two? I have been using standard drivers but if the DCH control panel is more up to date then I would not have a problem moving to the DCH drivers. Thanks

DCH Control Panel has version 8.1.958.0, dunno about Standard

uh...Reflex for fortnite? why put that technologies in a little kid's game..... 🙄 🙄
Shit I can't stand fortnite, But to question why they added new tech to one of the biggest games on the planet just shows a purposeful ignorance and a shite attempt to be edgy.

Call of Duty will require the game update. Then you can enable Reflex from the in game settings.

Is the valve index HDCP error fixed? It’s not listed in the Known Issues anymore.

Right back to Fallout 4 CTD's during game loading. Sigh.

@ManuelG - any word on a fix for 30 series getting stuck in 3d clocks at idle regardless of power settings?

It's all ok, here

Anyone know if the Divinity Original Sin 2 issue with HAGS is fixed?
Would like to know this aswell. As I understand it, this was fixed in a previous driver but wasn't merged in 456.38. Hopefully it's in now.

This is probably something that GFE should fix but I thought I'd retest a bug with control panel sharpening not being visible on GFE screenshots because a new GFE beta was released since previously reported. Bug is still present, unfortunately. 456.55 and beta GFE 3.20.5.48 (previously tested 452.06 and GFE 3.20.4.14).

Hey Manuel, is there an ETA on when this will come to Apex? Cheers!

What graphics card do you have?

As with 456.38, Adaptive Sync will not "stick" with this driver after a reboot. It still works, but I have to toggle the "Enable settings for the selected display model" check box in NVCP after each reboot. It then functions perfectly until the next reboot. Even though my monitor is not "Certified" it has always worked perfectly up to and including 452.22. I only have 1 display - LG 38WK95C-W FreeSync Monitor - DDU Safe mode used - Full driver package installation (minus GFE). @ManuelG I've just submitted a feedback form.

Call of duty Warzone uses 1.2gb of shared gpu memory (RAM) but only 1.9 gb out of the 6gb Gddr my rtx 2060 has at the menu. In-game still 1.2gb of shared gpu memory(RAM) and 2.8gb Gddr out of 6gb . Every setting is on low or disabled. I have Nvidia highlights disabled in-game and no geforce experience installed . Why is it using 1.2gb of shared gpu memory when my gpu has plenty of memory of its own? This seems excessive as I only have 8 gb of RAM. Is this driver related or bad game code? Is there any way to lower or disable gpu shared memory?

Yes, pretty much what I have experienced since the previous drivers came out, 456.38, my LG FreeSync monitor just doesn't work anymore, works randomly for a few minutes and then have to disable/reenable FreeSync... Reverted to 452.06 and everything works normally, with the exception of the Image Sharpening which does not work with Geforce Experience.

what about the tech putting data straight into vram instead of system ram ? only thin air ?
