"Notebooks with Maxwell generation GPUs may experience higher GPU utilization during game play leading to reduced battery life and higher temperature" guess it really is a hotfix

thats not a driver bug i've ever heard of. sure your screen hasn't got auto-contrast enabled?

Not sure what other games were affected, but the HDR brightness bug definitely affected Borderlands 3 in fullscreen mode. I actually thought it was the game since the bug began with the drivers that launched for Guns, Love, and Tentacles. I can confirm that these drivers fix the issue.

so thats another on the fixed side, now to make those claiming otherwise cough up their screen info and whether they're even running 190x....

" Improves stability in Overwatch " What GPU model does that specifically refer to, if any in particular? Because I'm using a GTX 1080 (regular, non-Ti) and I play Overwatch regularly and it runs fine, no stability issues whatsoever. I'm on the 445.75 driver. Have anyone experienced any stability-related issues prior to this driver hotfix in Overwatch?

ITGuru:

"Some games may appear very bright when HDR is enabled." I wish I have an HDR monitor, and they all look dull as crap.
That's the majority of "HDR monitors right now, my man. Unless you're using an HDR1000 display, just ignore it altogether. Monitors like the VG27AQ white clip like nobodies business.

Game in general, AMD had the same change notes. blizz is migrating renderer changes so that ow1 and 2 remain compatible.

No clue about most monitors, but on televisions you usually have to create a totally different calibration for HDR content. Otherwise things tend to look excessively dark and under-saturated. I have to toggle over to my HDR settings every time. Luckily it's not too much of a hassle and it tends to work across most different platforms. Even with things calibrated correctly, it's not this massive night and day difference people often expect. It usually just involves well-isolated bright spots. Things like fire, lights, the sun etc. provide bright/natural looking light without bleeding into the rest of the scene. I think most people think saturation = HDR.

This driver actually improved overall FPS on all the games and also fixes the G-Sync Flickering issues on games like World of Warcraft and Diablo3 (dunno if there are more but for me was a pain with the previous one)

Which games did you see the fps improvement with and how much improvement % ? Compared to which driver? Not wanting to doubt you but this is your first post here and there is no founding information. Its good information if true, more info is needed.
