Every driver past 442.19 gives me lower performance in the Division 2
Anyone else noticed the same?
@-Tj- keeps track of performance ups and downs in D2,
I'm still hitting the same fps as I was when i installed D2.
RodroG's performance is only relevant to his pc, like the majority of performance changes with device drivers.

No, they are not. Of course, any analysis or review with a clear and reliable methodology will only be directly applicable and representative of PCs and systems with identical and similar hardware, software specs and programs settings. However that does not necessarily mean its invalidity or uselessness for many users who are part of those groups, and who appreciate and value their publication positively. In fact, Nvidia representatives have directly and personally confirmed to me that the Nvidia's engineers of the driver development team value and consider my regular driver performance series as usefull and helpful, encouraging me to continue to do so. Even more, I have official evidence of the later and that my last two benchmarkings have been shared a few days ago with the appropriate official team of the company. Anyway, for you surely only your point of view and criteria are correct, valid and useful, and all those users, Nvidia's representatives and engineers, and me, we do not have any valid or usefull criteria and we are all wrong. Regards.
Yes, they are.
Like every performance test ever made, behaviors are specific to your choice of hardware, the drivers in use by other devices, cooling, the software packages and their services installed and the color of your bedroom walls.
Hence why i never take anyones post seriously when they claim significant performance drops unless they are backed by multiple other users, all with video evidence of a decrease on same hardware following a diagnostic startup or on fresh windows install.
1. People do really dumb things to their pc's.
2. The popular apps that get bundled for this and that feature on a system (ie, nahimic) are all capable of contributing to performance drops.
3. Windows has its own shader cache which almost no one ever cleans between drivers
4. Display drivers now dobackground generation of optimized shaders that will run better the next time they are encountered, but these can trigger frame drops if the developer hasn't had the feature in mind when developing their DX engine.

I fired up Division 2 tonight, First time I have played in a while. And I did notice performance was slightly worse, I use vsync @ 4k and my utilization was maybe 5-8% higher than it was before. Nothing crazy and I didn't do any comprehensive testing just going off of memory, and could just be down to time of day in game diffrences.
Been awhile since I posted but..
I’ve also noticed a huge reduction in performance with my 2080 ti with modern warfare and other games. Sharpness is Broken also
Issues are resolved with older drivers

Yeah, seems this isn't a very good one.
The broken sharpening is the worst one for me.
Yeah same scores in synthetics. DLSS 2.0 looks good, too. Control is demanding tho, high/med, no raytracing, 4K with 1440p internal res, not stable 60 with 2070s oc. 😡
Had some issues where the nvidia CP wouldn't load up at times, and random black screen in Modern Warfare "More than normal" at start menu. Also had a lockup loading ESO.
Went back to the 450.12. Everything working normal now.
DCH driver.
anyone else getting problem with multi monitor support from these drivers, issue happened actually about 3-5 builds ago but has still not been fixed.
basiclly if you run more than 3 monitors
for instance 2 monitors + 1 hdmi lg tv and you try to play anything in full screen you end up with a full screen corruption grey screen with fuzzy flickering at the top 3rd of the screen
only way to fix it is to press escape on the blind and then pull out a display port cable and plug it back in.....
issue has been there for ages. and not fixed.
This started to me a lot with HDR with 442.xx, don't know what caused it. I only have 1 LG OLED TV.
But another problem that started with 445.75 is HDR movies don't launch in HDR it stays SD and says NV HDR but it still looks like SDR.
Enabling WINDOWS HDR works, saying OS HDR and it is HDR.
HDR Games like Sekiro Shadows Die Twice works fine with HDR auto-detection
So it's only HDR movies
I am using Potplayer + LavFilters D3D11 Decoder + MadVR
NV please fix this
