4K is same as Nvidia's max DSR factor and I can't remember a problem using 1080p x2 as custom resolution(2160p). ------
They are the same only in terms of pixel quantity. If you want DSR you use DSR, if you want custom res you use custom res. You can't use DSR and custom resolution. Display can't magically show four times the resolution if it's told to - hence DSR. If you can't remember a problem using 2160p it's because you were using DSR and not real 2160p on 1080p screen - it's impossible (obvious reasons)

about this driver, I would think of it just as a hotfix for Win10 users only(as it is titled)..any other new changes came ?
Actually I read the answer to my question, I quote what ManuelG wrote on Geforce forums, "This driver is basically driver 355.60 with added fix for the memory issue."

Hm,you misunderstood me as I see, never said that DSR and custom resolutions is available,ofc you have to choose what you prefer,can't use both,it's a known fact for me too. I agree with you that they are same only at pixel density however it's the best solution for better visual clarity and antialiasing especially on games that use cheap AA methods. And the bug that having a G sync and more than one gpu DSR is bugged and not an option I S a priority..I mean I paid for two gpus,a g sync monitor and can't use DSR..it's a vital thread for reputation if decent customer support is not enough as primal reason to buy all these Nvidia stuff..

Did not fix SLI issues with Z170, still better performance with one card and SLI deactivated compared to SLI Active 🙁 So far SLI is useless on the new Z170 chipset
That might be something only a BIOS update can fix..

The whole driver seems broken. I got severe crashes and unresponsiveness in Elite Dangerous. Rolled back to the dev driver, that one is good. Didn't play smoothly either. Claimed 100 FPS but didn't feel that way, stay clear.

Finally, at least i can now select 10bit colour, have nothing that renders at that but hey, at least it works 🙂, might fire up Blender Still getting windows resizing and in the top left of corner of the screen with these after the monitor goes to sleep, wasnt having this issue with the first drivers released for Windows 10
Do you actually see a option for 10bpc ? or is it just RGB Full , YCbCr 422 and 444 Ive only ever seen 8bpc and 12bpc (due to a glitch)

I am still getting the out of memory error with COD:Ghosts MP when SLI is enabled which actually is the only game I have had issue with since moving to Win10 X64.I do not have BF4 installed. *Update* I believe I have fixed my issue with Ghosts by enabling "System managed page file."I had the min. and max values set the same.

lol, not a good thing IMHO. if they were actual performance improvements instead of fixing broke shiet. Nvidia needs to release drivers every 48 hours or the games don't work lately. No issues with my Crossfire btw since windows 10 launch...

Oh **** really! I have an Asus Maximus VIII Hero board at home. 🙁 Still can't find a CPU anywhere, have one on order with Amazon but no idea when I'll get it. I hope this gets fixed asap... it is a little odd I can't find any Skylake reviews using SLI. :\

Yeah I get the 10bpc for the first time, tried all the drivers since I got my screen and 980ti bar yesterday's drivers and only ever had the 8bpc option

Sure: http://i.imgur.com/MiaiDAM.png But this was working like this for me since 353.62 or whatever that driver was that got pushed alongside Win10 launch. I can also select between 8 and 12 bits for my TV connected via HDMI.

I just dont have that at all. Never seen it. I know they introduced it when the color depth settings was moved from color settings to resolutions. I think i read its something to do with SLI and that 8bit is forced into 10bit anyway.

Very strange, this is the first time it's enabled for me but I havnt done a proper clean driver install since I moved to windows 10. It was annoying as my monitor does support it

I had same issue in Advanced Warfare SP since i upgraded to SLI and Windows 10. It would fill all vram during level loading and crash afterwards. I fixed it in the most bizarre way.........there is an option in-game menu to fill all unused vram. Thats what you get when you used to turn ON everything in options xD. Maybe there is similar thing in Ghosts as well?

OK there is a problem with GTA V starting if there is too much Virtual memory and VRAM taken up from games already as there was 7GB VRAM according to MSI AB taken up in starting GTA V. It seems to be a problem clearing the Virtual memory and VRAM. It causes for GTA V to sometimes start with 15FPS. I found this problem in driver 355.77 that i got on Friday and only reported it today so i guess there will be another hotfix soon hopefully.

Still uses more Vram in Win 10, but Nvidia took the time to fix this on SLI and optimize. Uses considerable less. I was somehow at 4200mb in the Witcher 3 at 3440x1440. Id rather my cards use more Vram to produce better gameplay anyway, but it was going a bit far there for a while. Thanks Nvidia. Was at 3.2 gig in Win 8.1, not at 3.6-3.8 gig in Win 10.

Whats wrong with FEAR's shadows?
