You have a different GPU though. its working fine for my 580GTX as well. my 780GTX is crashing.
Ah ok thought people were saying it was a driver+ firefox problem not a gpu+driver+firefox problem 🙂 Still quite weird though.

Why isn't this driver listed on the Nvidia driver site? I prefer to get my drivers directly from Nvidia.
I wanted download English version, not international and... I downloaded driver from here: GeForce R326 Game Ready Driver ; ) but... after click "DOWNLOAD" I copied the link location from "AGREE & DOWNLOAD" button - "http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/326.41/326.41-desktop-win8-win7-winvista-64bit-english-beta.exe", just renamed 326.41 to 326.80, like this - "http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/326.80/326.80-desktop-win8-win7-winvista-64bit-english-beta.exe" and thats all : ) Edit: Ok, now it's official on NV site: GeForce R326 Game Ready Driver Edit 2: http://www.apple.com/uk/ios/ios7/ I checked it and Firefox 23.0.1 crashing, but 24 Beta [4] works fine.

Which drivers were you using previously? I have a 5xx series like you and have stuck with the 314.09 for awhile now due to issues with newer drivers. I'm still really hesitant to install new drivers after the last few I tried.

hmm interesting, so the crashing is fixed for you ? It did crash before with other drivers ?
What flash do you use? I had that crash too, but im using latest beta flash player, idk maybe its something with that?

Another driver that is fubar. Every driver from the 320.xx and 326.xx branches locks up my PC and hangs/crashes my games. (been playing Crysis 2, 3 and Warframe). Like seriously, I tried Nvidia's last 6 drivers and the all are messy. Back to the stable, problem free, 314.22 Windows 8 x64, 560 Ti 1 GB.
There is something very wrong with your system stability wise. I'm really starting to doubt it's the drivers.

Nope. Nvidia is aware of the problem and are still working on it. I believe Manuel commented on this in the OpenGL driver thread.

I'm running the same video card but I'm still using an i7 920 @ 3.8 and I only score just over 8000 on the FFXIV ARR benchmark. I didn't realize that game was so cpu dependant!

I just did a test with Battlefiel 3 and get a very annoying stuttering with 320.49 had not.For this game always used a two-GPU SLI configuration, settings on ultra and 1080p graphics, coughing the 326.xx driver I produce the same stuttering, however back to 320.49 as everything returns to normal.

Looks like in Windows 8 they have removed all the taskbar centering options again. - Back to 1 taskbar over three screens - Back to maximising over three screens instead of just current screen Oh well, it was buggy anyways and I'm still using WinSplit for it with hotkeys.

Found a graphical glitch(Black Artifacts) with these in The Bureau XCOM Declassified. Although i don't know if it's a driver bug or a game bug, it seems like a game bug. Mission : Operation Guardian 1680*1050 All settings maxed out + PhysX except AA set to off. Edit: Was playing in Dx9, no issues in Dx11.

These are great, I was already getting no 36 hour TDR's since the Open GL 4.4 drivers but the added bug fixes are nice. Need to test Sniper Elite Nazi Zombie Army tomorrow, the bug ONLY affects the 780 (and maybe other 700 series cards) so if you have a 600 series or lower there's no point in checking.

It seems to be a script issue with http://www.apple.com/uk/ios/ios7/ I use Firefox NoScript and when I allow the website Firefox crashes, but when I disable the script on the website with NoScript the Apple site does not crash. I think that narrow it down to a script issue, and may not be a driver related issue. Could also be a flash problem, but I haven't tried that. Weird non the less.
hmm very interesting. its also weird that other browsers dont crash for me.

Isn't that a bit extreme? You can just torture someone from the Nvidia Driver depatrment you know.. 😀
