Sorry for this being off topic, but I thought I'd share some memories from someone who was there at the time. I remember playing the original Elite when it started life on the BBC Micro (not known for it's games at all), I would have played it on that 1st at a friends house, then on my 48K Spectrum I guess (yep it really did only have 48K of RAM and games came on tapes too). Back then the graphics were awesome for a game at home, remember we had grown up on some great vector games in the arcades mainly from Atari. Countless hours spent going from 1 planet to the next doing that rotating docking procedure over and over to buy cheap and sell high, with a bit of space combat thrown in too.

I will be claiming this. I doubt I will be playing it.

Downloaded it. I don't get the feeling i had in the 80's on my commodore 64 waiting for my parents to go to sleep to start playing on my small TV until i heard them wake up. Ok mom i will hurry now to get to school. lol maybe i shouldn't have done that. But still i earn enough money in present day but it could have been more hahahaha. Memories i love them.
