I still remember playing the first game with an unofficial patch, because at that time my current GPU didn't even match the minimum directX requirements that Bioshock used for the first time within my perception. So I played with glitches and all of that, which didn't make me play the game long at all.
I think I'll give it a go, seems worth it to catch up with practically never playing a Bioshock title at all.

Bioshock Tweaker is a handy tool to enable things the game doesn't let you through the options menu. Like enabling EAX if you have the hardware and enabling some graphics options that are otherwise off or lower quality.

You will need to manually point that tool to the Bioshock.ini as EPIC's version places the Bioshoch.ini in a different place.

Also noticing that the Tweaker only shows the DX9 rendnerer and no DX11 option... not sure if that's just the Tweaker or if EPIC's version really doesn't have DX11. Odd :\

I have received one way or another and mostly from epic great free games.
I now have on my system more great games from free that I think I can actually play.
All this free game stuff from epic is definitely bad for Business.
Epic want to watch that they don't get whip lash from the from the industry that no one is buying new product.

@vestibule epic I think wants you to have a big library on their store same as most do on steam ! So they default on always having the epic game luncher too .... At least this is my belief on why they gift out games like that ...and obviously to entice new customers , it sure worked on me .... Under any other circumstances most likely I would ignore epics store but now I snatch free games some of em I play and when I want to buy a game I check both stores to see where is cheaper .

@Venix yep, I have gotten a ton of free games from them and that helped them earn a lot of game purchases from me too now.

Bioshock 1 & 2 were brilliant, excellent atmosphere & story and good gameplay and I would say one of the classics. It's probably a bit dated now as I tried playing the remaster of them back in around 2016 and it just didn't have the same impact on me. For their time they were brilliant games, and perhaps if you've never played Bioshock before then you'd be able to get into the atmosphere and story. Bioshock Infinite was very forgettable in comparison to 1&2.

YMMV indeed. I thought BS1-2 were super boring but I finished BS Infinite.

Tried BS1 at launch a combo of technical issues and the game just not clicking put pay to me getting further. Came back a few years later and gave it another go and completed it, skipped 2 as I heard it wasn't very good went on to Infinite got board very early on haven't gone back to give it another try.
