F1 PC performance review; each two or three graphics cards that we swap out of the PC, will trigger the DRM. We'll had to wait 24 hours per graphics card change to be able to test this title. Ergo, we've been restricted to two, sometimes three graphics card tests daily. Massively restricting this review process
Thank you for the review.I agree 100% on what you said in the quote above.I know how long it takes to do reviews and to have the extra restricting limits is a task you should not endure. Writing reviews on products should be hassle free as possible, these reviews help people in buying decisions.

I'd like to see another TOCA world touring car game, or even NASCAR. I can dream I suppose.

Good review. DRM BigTime! Wow, what a PINA. I simply dont have the time for those games. Its the Dirt Games for me, Rally is where I am at. Rally used to be televised a lot years ago but now I am reduced to Insta to follow it. I also get the GRID games but again I don't have the time and so they just sit in my Library. @Ghosty I just checked in my old rom collection to find Toca 2, If I remember right: Codmasters was started by 2 brothers who owned a farm?

I mean i buy these freakin things every year and also get the most expensive version. I do love F1 games but it should be £29.99 tops. For the Champions Edition it's £69.99 and sorry screw that. It's got terrible reviews on Steam btw so i'm gonna for the first time hold off and maybe buy at a later date.

FSR is an interesting performance increase for AMD. Can't Nvidia run that too? it would be interesting to see how a 3090Ti does on FSR if it's possible just for curiosity.

Yes, Nvidia can use it too. I ran FSR with a RTX 2060.

My vote for Toca

Welp, thats a no buy from me since EA still does this BS. Piracy wins again. @Ghosty There have been lots of nascar games since EA lost their exclusivity!!!!!!!!!! Sadly we have had no new toca game basically since 2006 right? Toca Race Driver 3? I think GRID has become the Toca games now.

Problem with F1 games is they don't recreate the sense of driving a f1 car. its all way to static without any chaos what so ever. F1 is brutal and mayhem but the games resemble a sunday drive. should be more like... [youtube=kfwE65kJLdI]

NASCAR World Tour. Sounds good to me.

Don't think that's a good comparison there, they're both bad - FSR is much blurrier and overly soft, DLSS is over sharpened and has more pronounced aliasing. Something needs to be done about that aliasing, it's too distracting.

false equivalence fsr lacks detail and it's awful tbh dlss is oversharpened but looks a lot more detailed and has a lot less aliasing

What are you smoking? Can you not see how bad the jaggies are?

Can you not see how distracting that is? It's even worse on the left side with the billboard sponsor signs, but the aliasing is already bad anyway.

yes, but that's on fsr

Nope, that's the DLSS screenshot unless it's a problem with the website

cucaulay malkin:

no it isn't that's dlss

that's your ss https://forums.guru3d.com/attachments/vivaldi_9skjkqbgkm-png.12889/
Something funky going on with the comparison website then, why is my screenshot smaller? I've got it fullscreened too, pull the static images instead and get them sidebyside, could be my browser. Nevertheless, look at the billboard sponsor signs on the left too.

cucaulay malkin:

that's in native + taa too.
Oh god yeah, It's looking awful overall then, DLSS and FSR just exacerbating the problems - can we not do downsampling with a DLSS/FSR pass instead? I hate aliasing when I see it.
