I'd prefer full support rather than a hack job. Unfortunately the 3XXX series cards are ludicrously expensive and only available from scalpers, and I refuse to support them with my money, so here's hoping that nvidia feels charitable for once.

Hi, can you check if Aorus and GPU-z show the same version? In GPU-z: tab Advanced, choose BIOS and look at the Message info. Thanks

Yes, they show the same version. A user on another Forum told me that GPU-Z shows the F-Version at the nvidia-BIOS selection at the Advanced tab. I wasn't smart enough to find out by myself. But that is good to know. As there is no need to install another tool.

Are you sure? Sure I don't deny they've lost lots of players. I was surprised to see the amount of players in raids and streamers on twitch. WoW is still very popular with silly amounts of thousands of viewers as well as players. It's still thriving.

You need to turn off CSM to get an image with Rebar/4G enabled.
Even though this issue didn't affect that user. It was a mBIOS issue. I was surprised seeing the amount on various forums getting caught out with CSM.

I had to 7zip the .exe and use the Testini.txt and GPU-Z > Advanced > NVIDIA BIOS > Message, to find out which .rom I had to use with nvflash, otherwise as far as their trash tool is concerned I'd never need an update or get Resizable BAR support which I have now according to NVCP System Information. Asus 3080 TUF OC here, I don't if others are having this no update needed problem but even worse I've seen others with Asus 3080's getting their card bricked by the tool improperly updating to wrong BIOS. Good job Asus not being able to make a simple tool! When it's doing something this important and frankly quite simple you would think you would be able to make sure it works

I did not find the update of my card to the Resize-Bar (RTX 3060Ti Ghost (GAINWARD) the BIOS that was made available with GALAX and only for cards (GAINWARD) from China?

Had this same issue. Turns out their update tool will not work for users without GPU Tweak II or III installed. Nonsense.

Nvidia Surround is broken with this driver, every time I reboot my PC the colors are extremely bright. Turning surround off and on resolved this issue after boot. Can anyone confirm if they experience this?
Surround 3x PG279Q here - all looks normal to me. Colours look the same and none of the sliders in NVCP or Windows seem to have changed. ICC profile screwiness?

Same card, and mine worked fine for whatever that's worth, are you sure you didn't accidentally use the old v2 updater? Earlier today it wasn't listed under "BIOS & Firmware" (only the old updater was), for some reason, and was only under the "Drivers & Tools" tab instead. Asus did troll somewhat though; the BIOS version/number is identical to the old one. I asked a friend who has a Strix 3090 OC, and it's the same for him, the BIOS version # was not changed.

No I didn't, but the V2 tool didn't work either when I tried to update using it in December, I had to extract the BIOS and do it manually. The BIOS message definitely changes, and is what you need to use along with the Testini.txt in the .exe to figure out what .rom you're supposed to flash to. The tool is simply incapable of detecting what BIOS my card has it seems, and just says no need to update. SoulsCollective said apparently you need GPU Tweak installed?
I didn't pay attention to the message, the version # should change for such an important BIOS change, Asus are weird. I haven't heard of GPU Tweak before, or if I did I forgot. Out of curiosity I'd switch the BIOS on the card to the 2nd one and see if the tool works on that. Stupid question, but you were on the stock BIOS before attempting to update right?

I installed this driver and today's patch from Blizzard. I just tested now (RTX 3070) and there is no more flickering in shadowlands (Ardenweald or kyrian). Not sure if it's the driver from Nvidia or the patch from Blizzard that fixed it. Also, the semi-transparent textures look fine now, there were areas where they used to look like a printer dither (dotted).
The issue never occurs straight after a driver or client update, it occurs after shaders have built up.
