Stopping that service stopped the GPU Workload toggle from doing anything, no matter how many times I told it to switch from Graphics to Compute it did nothing until I restarted that service.

What is the graphics / compute switch for ? Does it speed up gaming / compute workloads ? Does it allow lower voltages for games / compute ?

It's been asked and answered a few times in the various driver threads, basically compute is for the graphics card to compute stuff like mining etc, when I mine with it set to compute it's twice as fast as when set to graphics.

Does it mean the card got 100% boost in mining, or it's the same performance that was before the switch was introduced. Meaning -it got 2x slower in mining when set to graphics?
I always read driver threads, but I didn't see people talking about any boost in performance from this switch.
Does it do anything other than complicate your life is what I'm asking 😀

All I can tell you is based on my limited experience mining which is graphics mode gave me 1/2 what compute mode does. And I'm not trying to be a dick but compute was already raised in this thread:

I play forza about 3 hours today and dont see any of these problems, only long loading at startup(4 minutes for me on ssd).

The UVD bug doesn't seem to be present in this driver, at least for me.

Gone with this driver. But I recommend that you do a clean install, meaning DDU and the works.

I modifield curves if you use it from:
#define Curves_mode 1 to 2, because 1 looks to blue.

I have strange issue. I don't know it's a issue stick'd to this drivers directly, but when i watching something on
Netflix my screen freezes every four seconds. Yes, screen. Not video. I found solution for this. When i changed Pixel Format for any freezes gone.
Im using TV through HDMI right know, because i send my monitor for guarantees.

The only thing that I forgot to mention that I have ReLive disabled/Desktop Recording set to off. I can't for the life of me trigger the UVD bug with this set of drivers.

After 17.9.3, FreeSync is broke for 1920x1080 @60hz. It only works if I used 72hz. Not upgrading until that's fixed. 😀

I have old Reshade also, but i do not test every one.
0.19.2 with HighPass_settings.h did not work.
1.1.0 & 3.1.0 do not work also.
PS.
Check this HighPass_settings.h (in forum also exists) it's a nice add on for Reshade.
Im using it for more detailed GFX (as i said -> crisp & clear)
