This driver brokes combination alt+enter in fc3 and bf4. Rolled back to 398.86.
What does alt+enter do in BF4, never used it? I just installed 398.98 and alt+enter does same as alt+tab, it toggled windows mode and back to full screen.

I know the whole "hotfix" stuff has become a meme at this point, but i do like the fact that Nvidia is always actively working hard to fix the major problems.

Alt+Enter usually switches between Windowed and Fullscreen modes in most applications which support both modes and don't override this default shortcut. By default, it flips between last used W and F modes (it won't cycle through all the possible variations, especially not the ones decided by "fs optimizations").

Ok, thanks That is what it does for me in BF4, switches from full screen to windowed mode.

It is not a default shortcut. It needs to be implemented manually. It just happens to be a de-facto standard to use alt+enter as a way to switch to fullscreen and back.

Win10 Pro 64bit Insider Build 17735 via upgrade. This is more likely a problem with the insider build, but, stand-alone driver installing doesn't seem to work (even in admin mode), including this driver and the last 2 drivers. However, downloading Geforce Experience as recommended by the error box does work, but, will install 398.82. Interestingly, when I'd first rebooted after installing insider 17735 and tried to install this latest driver; the Nvidia installer did detect the previous driver (from build 17733) correctly. So, I assume that MS have attempted to carry over the Nvidia driver when upgrading, but, broke something else.

That's why you use DDU.

It can't be 399.99, that leaves no room for the hotfix for the hotfix's beta hotfix. They need some room so that the 400.00 can drop when the new GPU's are announced.
