for people with the start menu problem with games, I made a app to kinda of temporary fix the issue. but when using the app your start menu and notifications wont work again until you tell the app to restart the shell experience host program I already had the program for download but I had to update it so it could have admin rights to make the needed changes. if you shut down shell experience host program, dont exit the app until you restart shell experience host program. https://www.mediafire.com/?vtddxvd8kx2bay8

Full of bugs? I have been running windows 10 with the past four months and the latest version (10074) is not full of bugs if you do a clean install from the ISO. If you update from another version of windows 10 then it is full of bugs. I know because I upgraded to version 10074 from an older version and the OS was riddled with bugs so I then done a clean install and theres very few bugs. I actually thing 10074 is better and faster than windows 8.1

yeah it works better for people with single cards. but with sli setups, its hit and miss. I was playing the evil within and when exiting the game menu and going back to game, the system froze. microsoft must be using hardware acceleration for the start menu. thats the only reason, that the start menu could cause driver crash.

On my system the driver does not report correct gpu mem usage in MSI Afterburner. Max value just says 152 mb, even when gaming. Using latest Windows 10 build. Anyone else have this problem?

Then I'll switch back too. 350.12 working ok with latest windows 10 build?

Perfect. Had no problems, CTDs or anything and tested it in like ten DX9-11 + OpenGL games.

I'll be installing the Insider Preview* 10074 tomorrow and it's nice to see new drivers for it. I hope it's stable enough for me to keep it as my main OS this time. I really like Windows 10 changes/improvements. *It's Insider Preview, not Technical Preview now.
Thinking of doing the same, but i did get bugs with previous releases, but i'm still giving it a shot.

My guess would be from the start menu transparency that everyone was complaining about on the Feedback app. It might be worth a shot disabling the blur (if you are in the 50% that got it) to see if that is causing the problem.

Weird, why won't these drivers work even though it installed fine? :bang:

modded inf needed 😛uke2:

Guess because of the modded inf to make them work. What's the matter you got? 349.90 run somewhat fine on a GTX 570 (inf modded).
Went back to 350.12, i guess i have to wait till they make Win 10 drivers with support for older cards. But as far as i know and have read, 500 series will support DX12.

For those interested, here is how this driver work with DirectX12 and with the 3dMark API test. I have also used my app Wagnard CPU Core Analyzer to see the CPU utilization and Threads queued differences from dx11/dx12 (Nerd stuff inside lol) -Windows 10 (Build 10074) -Driver : 352.63 -3dMark API test -Wagnard CPU Core Analyzer -Recorded with ShadowPlay http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQgUf1mm3i8

Nvidia: Do you plan on releasing a hotfix or a new driver soon addresses the occasional Alt-Tab black screen/soft lockup issue?

there does seem to be some problems with sli. because I noticed that windows 10 actually responds slower when sli is enabled chrome even seems to run faster with sli disabled.

Will they continue with unified drivers for Win Vista, 7, 8.1, and 10 or will 10 and older OS' get separate releases?

These drivers are causing games to crash after using alt-tab. Win8 drivers are fine.
