Interesting AMD highlights but more weirdnesses throwed at NVIDIA and Activision silence.

Espionage724:

Or is that what Radeon Boost is? If I enable Radeon Boost globally, would it apply to games not mentioned on this list? Basically, would it have applied to DL2 prior to these drivers if I manually enabled it?
Enabled manually only applied to specific games listed on AMD site. Orginally it works as a dynamic resolution scaler which is activated during "intensive game moment". Followed AMD: "this feature now takes advantage of the variable rate shading hardware found on the Radeon™ RX 6000 series graphics cards and supported DirectX® 12 titles delivering extra performance and increased responsiveness while you play"

Real bug fixing - next month... maybe! I'm not surprised at all. 😱

Did an upgrade through the control panel as usual and it installed just fine other than my overclock settings being defaulted which has happened with the last few driver installs as well; not a big deal as I just load the saved profile and everything is good again. I ran 3dmark Time Spy and got one of my best results ever, and is on par with 22.10.2, so this driver is super solid in performance at least in this synthetic test. Will play some games and hopefully get it on my laptop soon to see if it is good for mobile as well. Been loving these pristine drivers from AMD for quite some time now so I will hazard a guess that these are going to be rock solid for me as usual. 6800 XT / i7 8086k / Win 10 Pro x64 22H2 / 22.10.3 Time Spy: Overall - 17 617 Graphics - 21 026 CPU - 9 183 https://ibb.co/n05fBjf Happy gaming!

Use DDU to uninstall drivers in safe mode, disconnect from internet, and install the latest drivers in normal windows mode (not safe mode). Also, you are using an R9 290X, AMD basically abandoned all GCN GPU's. I would look into using Nimez modded drivers for better support of your card.

IDK what I am doing as I have never used this program or looked into this information before so let me know what else you want to see. https://ibb.co/P5fVTM4 https://ibb.co/6XgWbfx

Still seeing black screen when installing this driver, great fix!

Tried these today, still missing some of the OpenGL extensions I need.

I just recommend everyone use older drivers if you're having issues with openGL in certain apps/games. I'm using Pro driver 21.q4 which is the best driver for me. I honestly don't see any newer improvements to opengl until either the end of this year or next year. But who knows.

Had to do a repair/reinstall as noise suppression wouldn't work from first install after doing ddu

Thats a personal issue. Installed, worked fine here with 6800xt.

Seems better than the last one? No chrome stutter (while scrolling/hovering links) Twitch videos doesn't stutter like crazy anymore. No driver timeout yet. (yes I reverted mpo back to default) //edit ops, forgot to change angle back to default. Chrome stutter is still there. Hovering/scrolling. DX9 angle mode seems to fix it. //edit2 Mouse cursor stuttering is also still there when a game is running and tabbing out So MPO disable it is again.

Stuttering or screen flickers may occur during video playback using hardware acceleration with Chrome issues still affect some people. You can try disabling MPO to improve the situation. Possible trigger reasons are as follows: 1. When the screen refresh rate is higher than the video frame. 2. Configure multiple computer monitor devices. 3. Use window mode to play games and during video playback using hardware acceleration with Chrome at the same time. Solution: After updating to NVIDIA Game Ready Driver 461.09 or newer, some desktop apps may flicker or stutter when resizing the window on some PC configurations

These are the first drivers that actually might replace 22.5.1 for me. Pretty darn good so far.

@Mott You mentioned in another thread you installed AMD GPU drivers on a desktop and laptop. Which laptop?
