RTX 3090 Twitch 1080p Stream 260W when it's ON 38W when it's OFF But damn it looks good. Two future improvements needed: 1. Decrease power consumption. 2. Add an artifacts masking slider, as panning camera shots aren't great quality. Even with Quality 4 selected. Great start though, and definitely something I will be using in the future once it's ironed out. Kudos to nVidia and thank you for providing updates like this one 😀

Unless twitch finally switches to AV1, I won't be using VSR. EDIT.: Make sure to close browser if you change VSR quality, otherwise it won't accept your new settings and will keep using previous one.

That should be it as long you use supported browsers.

I'm using chrome version 110.0.5481.178

So basically it's doing nothing besides increasing GPU usage.

VSR not making any difference to power draw or image quality on Twitch for me. Using Edge Version 110.0.1587.57 (Official build) (64-bit) and RTX3070. Closed / Refreshed browser after applying Quality settings.

asides from the update for chrome, is this driver worth it gaming related? or skip? im on 528.02 on a rtx 3060.
I only upgraded because i was on 528.24 and i have a brand new 4000 series that may or may not get better support each driver.

Video super resolution only on 30 and newer? No love for Turing? And only on chromium browsers? Alright... So does the driver slimming utility still work? Or how does that work these days? Anybody can point me into the right direction?
You can use Evil Toasters as he helps the community by sharing them : https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/528-49-clean-version.433367/

2uKER: I don't get this either. When watching 1080p movies on my projector, I am using simple sharpening shader in MPC-BE that does better job than this, costs next to nothing in regard to power consumption and doesn't add any additional smearing to motion. As for this driver and Vulkan I don't see any difference comparing to previous ones. Frametimes are still full of small spikes with "Optimal performance" in my retro games (i.e. vkQuake) so I have to set "Max. performance" and RTSS limiter to smooth things out.

I'm using Edge, it works for Twitch, but not for YT 🙄

Will it work for Opera? Sorry, haven't had chrome or edge for a long time

msi 4090. lgcx77 Ran driver cleaner in safe mode first. Output dynamic range is messed up. Limited looks normal but full (which I have run for years) looks like a saturation explosion. This has never happened before on this TV. with 2080ti, 3090, or 4090.

Have yet to test this one, but I have the shield pro with AI video enhanced and it is inferior to what I will post below. None of my expensive hardware and software have ever looked better and run smoother than just these basic filters. Run MPC-be 0pen video, right click on picture, shaders-select shaders. (Personally I do post resize but either looks fine). Add: -Luma Sharpen -yv12 Chromo upsampling -pick any sharpener -16-235 to 0-255 -bt601-bt709 Personally I leave renderer at default. MADVR + lav filters looks even better, But I have always run into sync issues. Once you have it setup, you can toggle it on and off and you will immediately realize you have wasted your life watching washed out blurry videos. https://i.postimg.cc/DwT485Y1/enhance.png

It's also working in Opera Dev on YT

I remember when everyone was slating AMDs 7900s when they were released, as they were running hundreds of watts watching YT videos etc... :P

Has the NVIDIA control panel option been removed from the system tray icon for Windows 11 with this driver because I only have GeForce Experience after installing 531.18. I can still right-click the desktop and access the NVIDIA control panel that way but I always had both methods with previous drivers.
